Although somewhat pricey. Only reason I’m giving a one star is because I have food poisoning today after getting some wings and pizza from their pre-made section. Curse you food rocket, your food is seriously dehydrating me today. Not cool. ### 1/5 — Nope *2022-08-15, version 1.14.3* Super-limited selection, lots of wildly inflated prices, and 30-40 minute delivery time? Why would I bother? Sure, if you’re not relatively close to stores and need something pretty quickly (and gotta/wanna stay home to boot)? Then, this may be a decent option. Otherwise, pay a delivery fee (or not) and order from somewhere with better selection and value. You might not get it as quickly, but you’ll get more for less $$. If you’re just juicing the flyer deal(s) as a one off, then you might be in luck. ### 1/5 — Bad at Delivery *2022-03-14, version 1.10.8* I ordered because of the big discounts offered. Both times I ordered they messed up my order. Rapid delivery is fine if they get it right, but it’s not convenient if they give you the wrong items then you have to spend 30 minutes talking to customer service that clearly don’t speak English or are a bot then you have to wait for another deliver. Would not recommend ### 1/5 — Lack of customer support *2021-11-28, version 1.8.4* I have tried ordering through their app and the last few times it has told me “items out of stock” but it doesn’t specify what items are out of stock so I sit there going through each item to see which one might be out of stock only for it to keep telling me items were out of stock. I contacted their “support” via call but the call wouldn’t go through, so they may have to update their contact number. I then chatted with Jerrin whom didn’t help at all, he mentioned that I could try a different payment method & it still said out of stock. If you’re going to run a mobile food business the least you can do is specify what items are out of stock or just not offer them. I will now be deleting the app as it seems to not work anymore! ### 1/5 — customer support failure *2021-09-14, version 1.5.4* On two different occasions I’ve had to contact support or chat with company in regards to missing items on one order and for another order one that was late. On both occasions I was informed it would be corrected and I would be contacted with a coupon and both times this failed to happen. I then followed up in a new chat and food rocket said they had no records of our prior conversations. The company eventually refunded via store credit for missing items but on the late delivery they did not refund they instead offered 10% coupon for a 12:35 order that was delivered at 1:01. The customer service center is disorganized and users are promised corrections for errors and store credit for failure to deliver items as promised but then company never follows through with coupon codes. The promise of refunded ordered if over 15 minutes is not honored despite being told it will be in a chat with company. ### 1/5 — They deliver to chosen addresses only *2021-06-15, version 1.2.1* I kept receiving ads from this app. And when I finally decided to download, create an account and everything. They say they can’t deliver to my address…… I was just mad that I had to do all the steps to then find out my address is not reachable. Which is also weird, cause I live close to several stores and very close to the freeway as well, and I have many deliveries made here from all over the Bay Area. ### 1/5 — False Marketing *2021-05-30, version 1.1* This is advertised for San Francisco, but covers only 15% of the city. Great way to coerce residents of SF to download your app but you’re only serving a small crowd of people located in a range of the city where gentrification has played a significant role in who can afford healthy and fresh food in a saturated market and how they access such affordability. tl;dr? Maximizing white markets for the purchases but taking advantage of the mass population for app download metrics. ### 2/5 — Love the idea *2022-09-26, version 1.14.8* Love the idea, delivery is fast, but they always get something wrong. My first order the forgot my almond joy (still charged me for it). Second delivery had hamburger buns instead of hotdog buns (stil charged me for it). 3rd delivery forgot my egg bacon sandwich and gave me 2 chicken bacon wraps (charged me for it) they also gave me and extra milk (charged me for it). They need to work out the kinks or refund their mistakes. App does not respect opt out from promotional notifications - the toggle exists but doesn’t work. Contacted support, which is their CEOs email. To even find a rider. So I ordered from food rocket and it’s on the way already. Getir still hasn’t even started packing my order yet. I don’t care I payed for getirs slow delivery. But I payed for food rocket’s faster delivery. Even though it is a little more expensive.
