That wasn’t the first time it’s happened. Wasn’t happy about this app. Don’t use it. ### 2/5 — The recent update made the app worse *2021-08-15, version 4.10* I now can’t type more than like 200 characters into the additional delivery notes section. It’s hard to find my house, and I need to be able to write a longer description than that if they’re gonna find my place since GPS apps have an error. Now, the drivers constantly get lost trying to find my place and they have to call me every time. Additionally, I can’t even enter my exact address! Only a multiple selection of address numbers. It’s strange. It’s a brand new iPhone shouldn’t have any issues. ### 1/5 — Can’t make an account *2023-07-08, version 4.29.9* You can’t order anything unless you make an account, which isn’t an issue, but mine won’t let me make an account at all. When I put in my phone number for the verification code and tried putting the code in, the screen would either freeze and then kick me out of the app or the app would immediately close and delete any prior information I added. The exact same thing happened with my friend trying to create an account as well. Genuinely impossible to sign up. ### 1/5 — Unable to Order *2022-12-02, version 4.12.11* Now I only get a list of previous orders and am asked to review them! There are no businesses listed to actually order from. I’ve deleted and relaunched the app at least 8 times in two days! Back to doordash for me ### 1/5 — Complete Fail *2022-10-12, version 4.12.10* We ordered last night (Subway) and it took two hours to get here from a store 15 minutes away. One of the sandwiches was inedible because it was sitting out for too long. Today, I wanted to give it another chance. We ordered two PB&J sandwiches from a local market. It cost us $50 including a $13.99 delivery fee. We had no way to context the driver. The place is 15 minutes away and it’s been 1 hour and 40 minutes so far. We want to support the local service, but it doesn’t seem like they have the resources to deliver the food in a timely manner. ### 1/5 — Can’t even register *2022-09-28* Y’all need to check your code, I can’t even enter a complete phone number at registration. Overall I love the idea of food runners. It has made it so simple for me to order food whenever I’m feeling like just staying home and not cooking. Their service is super quick and friendly. I’ve been using food runners for a while now and I absolutely recommend them 10/10. ### 3/5 — Needs updating *2026-05-12, version 4.30.0* App needs a fresh face and a modern UI. Ordering issues, such as taking a long time to accept or cancelling those long time to accept orders is non existent. The phone number isn’t theirs, it went to a deli.
