### 4/5 — IOS 11

*2017-09-22*

Ok

### 1/5 — foodie

*2017-04-23*

Cannot synchro. with my mac and ipad.
Very frustrating

### 5/5 — Awesome app!

*2016-03-14*

Keeps getting better.

### 1/5 — Still can't sync between devices

*2015-09-17*

Still Disappointed that it won't sync between my iPad, Mac and iPhone. Please fix and i'll adjust rating.

### 1/5 — Dissappointing

*2015-07-19*

Very disappointed. No ability to import recipes from web/social media. No ability to remove recipe you won't use. Only 3 categories that aren't customizable. No tutorial, at all. No good even if free.

### 3/5 — Tutorials

*2015-06-10*

Looks like a great program to organize and enter recipes. There is no apparent access to getting started tutorials or a help topic file. Without these, it has been a struggle to successfully use the App.

### 3/5 — Good design, bad sync functionality

*2015-01-25*

I really like the design of this app. The large images make it easy to find the recipe you're looking for. However, I often add recipes from my phone and then want to sync them to my iPad. I click the sync now button and nothing happens so I'm disappointed with that feature.

### 2/5 — Fab app

*2014-12-12*

Good app. Only improvement i am looking for is to feature the recipe rating in the thumbnail together with the recipe. This makes it wasy to find recipes that i like.

### 4/5 — Syncing issue fixed - thank you :D

*2014-12-11*

I **LOVE** this app and have it on my iPhone, iPad, and iMac. I love how it syncs and displays your food beautifully, like your own personalized cookbook, and you can easily share and save recipes with other people who have the app; email sharing is easy, too. Couple of minor bugs, for example, the posting to Pinterest option doesn't work. Without the minor bugs, this would easily be a 5-star app.

### 4/5 — Lots to like

*2014-11-03*

Update: thank you dev for investing time and updating the app. I have to admit that i prefer the old version. It was easier to read the recipe as black text on a light background. Also, as a cook, i need to go in and out of the app but the new version doesn't stay on the last open recipe. Instead, it goes it always opens to the home page I also liked how you could see the "stars" rating at a glance on the home page. Still a great app and i would recommend it. I do like the side by side scrolling of the ingredients and recipe.

There is lots to like...picture import, touch to edit, intuitive. I like the source box that converts URLs to hypertext links so I can easily return to where I found the recipe. I also like having a notes section.

The automatic conversion (for doubling a recipe for example) is very impressive and handy. In the app pics, it is the little black set of measuring spoons. click on it and a slider allows you to incrementally increase or decrease the serving size and it automatically readjusts your ingredient list. Very impressive. I also have already used the metric converter on some recipes. Love that feature too. I wish the USA had converted to metric.

With Foodie, I was up and started quickly. I like the side-by-side display (ingredients on left and directions on right). The display is clean and beautiful which is one of the reasons I chose this app. I need the pics as an incentive to cook the recipe. I like the smaller text so that more shows on the display. I don't need the contrast views since I don't cook in dark rooms. I haven't experienced any issues worth mentioning.

My wish list (not in any order).....
Searchable by ingredient
Pics for different steps of the cook process
Way to save it all (what if I lose my ipad)
Way to import recipes from popular sites
Smaller less available delete button...I almost accidentally pressed it a couple of times

Some of these things may already be available and I just didn't figure it out?

One of the other reasons I chose this app is that it resides locally on my device. However, I put a lot of work into it and need to have a way to preserve the content.

This was my first recipes app so I don't know how it compares to the others. A nice, polished offering.
