The recipes suggested are ones I actually want to make and it has really helped me try a few new things and taught me some new techniques. I am a pretty good cook and like to spend time in the kitchen and a lot of these types of apps I’ve tried have provided recipes that are too simple or just focused on health rather than flavour but this is the opposite! ### 5/5 — Great app, great service *2026-08-15* The app is very user friendly and is excellent for creating, storing, and finding recipes. It’s also easy to track nutrition, and it syncs with many groceries for each shopping. The customer service is also very smooth. Highly recommend! ### 4/5 — Great app but….. *2026-07-27* Has a lot of great features I like over other free recipe apps. But, after saving a recipe, when returning Facebook, it freezes the app’s reel page, and you cannot continue scrolling until you fully close the Facebook app and reopen it **Developer response:** Thanks so much for the lovely review and for flagging this! We haven't been able to recreate the freeze ourselves - and since force-closing Facebook fixes it, it could be something on Facebook's side when it wakes back up after switching apps. Happy cooking! ### 4/5 — Very functional *2026-04-07* I like the functionality of this app. I just wish it had tabs/sections to add your kitchen equipment for efficiency in meal prepping and a section to add your macros. So when you are batch meal prepping for the entire week, you are able to cook meals in line with your macro goals depending on how many meals/snacks you consume daily. We are constantly improving the app so watch this space! ### 5/5 — Amazing app! *2025-11-30* FoodiePrep has seriously been a lifesaver for me in the kitchen. I hate scrolling through long blog post or watching a video and taking lots of screenshots just to get to a recipe, and this completely fixes that. It parses it into a handy recipe without all the extra fluff. Such a time saver. I also love being able to ask quick questions like “Can I swap Greek yogurt for sour cream?” so I can make recipes healthier and getting an instant answer. I used it heavily for Thanksgiving by saving all my recipes from 10 sources into FoodiePrep then asked for make ahead suggestions. Made Thanksgiving morning much more relaxing by prepping ahead of time. I even had time to enjoy a mimosa! I feel like I’m way more organized with my meal planning! And honestly, the developer is super responsive. I suggested a couple small enhancement ideas and they actually replied and were excited about improving the app, which I really appreciate. If you love cooking but hate wasting time, definitely give FoodiePrep a try. ### 5/5 — Smart, Handy & Almost Perfect! *2025-07-27* This app is incredibly smart it creates recipes based on my preferences, and the ability to import from a URL is such a time-saver. I especially love how it adds ingredients directly from the camera and even builds a shopping list for me, making meal planning super efficient. One suggestion: under the “My Ingredients” tab, it currently says “create recipes with (no) ingredients.” I think it would be much more useful if this section were titled something like “What’s in my pantry?” with checkboxes to select ingredients and a button to generate recipes based on those selections.
