### 3/5 — Food Print Nutrition Tracker

*2024-09-03*

When I first downloaded this app, I was super excited. It was everything I needed and wanted in a nutrition tracking app. My problem now is it’s so difficult to get it to open up and even work. Maybe there’s some kind of bug that could be fixed because it has the potential to be a great nutrition tracking aid for people with, the desire to do so. But with the fact that it won’t even open up it sure makes it hard to track your food on an app that fuss about being used.

### 4/5 — Needs a lot of work

*2024-02-15*

I love this app it really helps me understand what I’m eating. I wish it had more features though. I hate subscription services but I would gladly give up some money to support the development of this app.

**Developer response:** Hi there, thanks for the feedback. We are happy you are enjoying the FoodPrint app! Please send us more information regarding the features you'd like to see to support@nutrino.co. Best, Nutrino Team

### 4/5 — Not syncing with Apple health

*2024-01-26*

Great app. However, the apple health is not showing any data from this app. In Sharing-Apps and services-Foodprint, Data from Foodprint is empty.I have made sure permissions are correct in Settings-Connected apps.

**Developer response:** Hi there, thanks for the feedback. We are happy you are enjoying the FoodPrint! Please send us more information regarding the issue you're experiencing to support@nutrino.co. Looking forward to getting this resolved for you! Best, Nutrino Team

### 4/5 — Ok at first glance

*2023-11-10*

So at first glance this app seems quite inclusive. But there’s no way to enter and save custom recipes. Meaning you’d have to calculate servings of each ingredient each time you enter it., or search back for a previous entry and copy it. 3 stars given for this.

Pros: it gives you a complete, and I do mean complete list of everything in your food. More so than any other app I’ve tried. Breaking down fat into saturated, polyunsaturated, and monounsaturated, which is great! One extra star awarded for this.

**Developer response:** Hi there, thanks for the feedback. We are happy you are enjoying the FoodPrint! Please do not hesitate to send us more feedback or suggestions to support@nutrino.co.

### 3/5 — “Activity”

*2023-07-29*

I love this app and how it tells me exactly what minerals and vitamins and such im putting in my body. BUT its activity thing is horrible! Every time i try to log my workout or walks or whatever- it doesn't work when i search it up.. it doesn't even say non available or this activity isn't in our database its just blank!! I have soccer 3 times a week and i want to track that within the app but its just not working!!!

**Developer response:** Thanks for the feedback, and we apologize for the inconvenience. In order to help you further please email us at support@nutrino.co. We look forward to getting this solved for you. Best, Nutrino Team

### 3/5 — Back buttons

*2023-03-27*

The back buttons don’t work and I find myself having to restart the app multiple times. Especially when I’m looking at the nutritional facts from what I have eaten during the day. I will gladly put my review at 5 when this gets fixed. I do like the variety of foods that you guys have listed since I eat a majority of sugarfree and fat-free foods. So it’s nice to see the brands I use already to go here.

**Developer response:** Thanks for the feedback, and we apologize for the inconvenience. In order to help you further please email us at support@nutrino.co. We look forward to getting this solved for you. Best, Nutrino Team

### 3/5 — good but can’t integrate with Libre

*2023-02-02, version 4.0.4*

I read that this app integrates with the Freestyle Libre cgm app but I can’t figure out how to pull my blood glucose readings into this app. Any info on that?

### 2/5 — might be nice if it worksed

*2023-01-18, version 4.0.4*

cant log in. I put all my personal information i to the app and it just stalls at log in…
now I’d like to know how to remove my information …

### 3/5 — Review

*2023-01-15, version 4.0.4*

This is a decent app. It tracks food well but I only gave it 3 stars. For a couple reasons that it only got 3 stars is because I have to add A LOT of items myself. The barcode is very convenient but their are many items that aren’t even in the database. The other problem I have is that when trying to click certain things on screen like the back button or edit I have to sit there tapping over n over again until it actually reacts.

**Developer response:** Thanks for the feedback, and we apologize for the inconvenience. In order to help you further please email us at support@nutrino.co. We look forward to getting this solved for you. Best, Nutrino Team

### 2/5 — Freezes

*2022-09-28, version 4.0.2*

With latest update, app regularly freezes on startup. Need to reboot phone to get it stated again.

### 4/5 — Great for tracking

*2022-05-03, version 3.9.3*

Suggestion: add more items to the “frequent items” list. My app only lists 7 items. Seems limiting 🙃

Opted for the premium version and so far totally worth it. An enhancement might be to add decimals to the weight tracking. Even small incremental weight loss is encouraging. 😉

**Developer response:** Hi there, thanks for the feedback. We are happy you are enjoying the FoodPrint! Please do not hesitate to send us more feedback or suggestions to support@nutrino.co. Best, Nutrino

### 2/5 — Confused

*2022-03-29, version 3.9.2*

I have a libre 2 cgm. I don’t have a clue how to use this app with the cgm. It’s supposed to be integrated. I’ll keep digging but we shouldn’t have to work this hard.

### 3/5 — Good

*2022-03-29, version 3.9.2*

I rate this only a 3-star, the only reason is because for 2yrs now I have been using this app and I’ve requested for one thing which is Dark Mode and it still does not have that feature which makes no sense. Other then that I enjoy the app and the on

### 4/5 — Water widget

*2022-03-22, version 3.9.1*

I like this app so far.
It loads a little slow, but I love that it is ad free!
Thank you, that is very refreshing.
I wish, however, it was more convenient to track water.
It would be quite exceptional if you create a widget to easily add glasses of water consumed.
Thank you.

### 3/5 — It’s okay

*2021-10-15, version 3.8.27*

I like the idea of taking a picture of the barcodes but not accurate enough. App seemed easy to use but still frustrated me so definitely a no-go for me. Not sure if I just didn’t find it or it didn’t offer it, but an overall glance at previous caloric intake on like a calendar would be a great addition.

**Developer response:** Thanks for the feedback, and we apologize for the inconvenience. In order to help you further please email us at support@nutrino.co. We look forward to getting this solved for you.

Best,
Nutrino Team

### 2/5 — Somewhat helpful

*2021-07-17, version 3.8.20*

It’s easy for tracking items, but it doesn’t allow you to change oz to ml for fluid intake, and the buttons at the top and bottom seem to overlap with other boundaries because they are unresponsive most of the time unless you press it like a dozen times while moving your finger in a small circle. Garbage! It’s 90% annoyance and 10% utility.

**Developer response:** Thanks for the feedback, and we apologize for the inconvenience. In order to help you further please email us at support@nutrino.co. We look forward to getting this solved for you. Best, Nutrino Team

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Not for me

*2024-06-30*

Very US centric. Doesn’t have a lot of built in common items like adding a sugar to your coffee. So it’s going to be a lot of time and manual setup for people outside the US and who make their own meals. You also can’t hide calories as a tracking option, which means anyone with a history of eating disorders that may only want to track macro or nutrient items and skip weight loss triggers is out of luck

### 1/5 — Garbage’s

*2022-11-14, version 4.0.3*

Stupid stupid stupid it won’t let me put my birthday in

### 1/5 — Useless

*2022-10-10, version 4.0.2*

Installed the app my first entry was StarBucks grande latte. The app could not find it. It suggested I should add all the food values myself.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t Work Anymore

*2022-09-12, version 4.0.2*

I used the app for 3 weeks, then suddenly I open the app to a white screen and it is clocking. I thought it would come back, so after two days I deleted and reloaded it. Now it doesn’t recognize my login-I’d and password. I tried resetting my password. It says it has sent an email with a temp password. The email never showed up in my inbox, and yes I checked junk mail too. My advice, don’t waste your time putting all of your information in an app that is not stable or won’t be around for long.

**Developer response:** Thanks for the feedback, and we apologize for the inconvenience. In order to help you further please email us at support@nutrino.co. We look forward to getting this solved for you. Best, Nutrino Team

### 1/5 — Extremely limited

*2022-05-18, version 3.9.4*

The only foods displaying vitamins, minerals etc, are the ones already in their system. If you wanted to add your bcaas (for example) to see what your overall l-leucine levels are, you wouldn’t be able to. In fact, when inputting new food items, you’re only able to log in calories, fat, protein, and carbs. Forget about fiber, sugar, sat/poly/mono fats, cholesterol, sodium, potassium….
The app is extremely limited which kind of defeats its purpose as an app. There are way better food tracker apps out there, like My Macros. These developers should either get the full vitamins/minerals nutrients going, or move on from this app altogether.

**Developer response:** Thank you for your message. We appreciate your feedback and have passed your suggestion on to our team of developers. Please let us know if you have questions or suggestions on support@nutrino.co

### 1/5 — Bad

*2022-02-10, version 3.8.31*

Worst app ever. It is so glitchy. I go to add food and it will not save or show up. I want to track calories without the limits of other apps. This would be awesome if it actually worked.

### 1/5 — Frustrated

*2019-06-03*

Just upgraded this app and it now longer does what it uses to do. No more meal planning. I will be moving on.

**Developer response:** We apologize for the inconvenience and will be happy to answer any questions you may have regarding these changes. Please contact us at support@nutrino.co

### 1/5 — Longtime user, now lost

*2019-04-16, version 3.1.0.5*

Very upset with the app change today. I have relied upon and recommended this app for years. I utilize it multiple times a day to keep track of my daily caloric intake for weight loss and weight maintenance. This morning’s update eliminated those features. I can still input the foods I eat (although the new format makes it difficult) but it’s not giving me an accurate calorie count and it’s not comparing it to my daily maximum goal at all anymore. Messed up my whole day... looks like I’m going to have to find a different app to track my meals. What a shame. 3 years of eating and logging and 50lbs down partially thank you to yesterday’s version of this app. Now lost. It’s been a day of mourning for me. Now I’m hungry and I don’t know if I can have 50 more calories of 300 more calories for the day.

**Developer response:** We apologize for the inconvenience. We have recently launched a new and simplified app that will allow us to focus more on food logging, and will offer more information about the nutritional content of your food. We will be happy to answer any questions you may have regarding these changes. Please contact us at support@nutrino.co

### 1/5 — Why

*2019-04-14, version 3.1.0.5*

Why take away so much of the features.

### 1/5 — Beware!

*2018-06-21*

I purchased “3 months” to give it a try. I deleted the app after a few weeks as it was too hard to figure out. Guess what? They automatically renewed me for another 3 months last week! I guess I misunderstood how it worked but I’m sure mad about paying another $25 for an app I dislike and don’t even have on my phone again!

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Up there with the best

*2024-04-23*

It has a simple and clear UI that enables me to use the app efficiently. It is a great to see the activity summary and nutrient intake displayed below the meals you have that day.

I am wondering if BMR and burnt calories will be included in future updates. It would be a good additional feature.

**Developer response:** Hi there, thanks for the feedback. We are happy you are enjoying the FoodPrint!

### 5/5 — Can’t log activity

*2023-01-05, version 4.0.3*

Update: I just went on my app, and suddenly my activities I’ve input to other apps have linked to it. This wasn’t the case before- but I’m happy now!

This has been so handy keeping track of what I’m eating and helping me make more mindful choices in regards to what I’m eating. I love how it can break down the nutrition of individual food items and meals, so I can actually understand my own habits. However, whenever I add an event, like “exercise”, even simple terms like “running” do not come up, much less what my exercises are actually called. Because of that, I can’t log any of my activity. Luckily I have it in other places, but I was hoping to have that information with my food to see how my overall performance with nutrition and activity is going. That being said, I still enjoy the app for what it is. It is just disappointing that one of the key functions doesn’t work.

### 5/5 — Significantly better than the competition

*2022-10-19*

Easily the best nutrition app I’ve tried. Simple to use, has a decent interface, and most importantly no ads!
Few issues and recommendations:
1. The back button tucks behind the time on 14 Pro Max. Please fix:)
2. Add support for widgets!
3. Add support for Apple watch!
4. I’d be willing to pay a small fee (not subscription) for the extra support!

10/10 would recommend

### 5/5 — Great tracker for everything

*2021-09-22, version 3.8.21*

I have been in a wheelchair for years now and I now feel like I have got to the point where I need to start tracking what I eat and when I eat it and also it helps that I can track my medication as well and show when I take my medicine also put it in after the fact if I don’t have my phone right there when I’m taking it

### 5/5 — Amazing app!🤩

*2021-07-26, version 3.8.20*

I usually don’t write reviews for apps, but this app is good enough that it deserves one! It can track how much calories, carbs, and fat you take in. For example, I recently typed in ‘Subway’ to log in my lunch. They had over 59 items just from subway each with the exact amount of carbs, calories, fat, etc! Not to mention you can also connect to app like Apple Health and FitBit! If you are looking for an AWESOME app that helps you be healthier, then this is the way to go!

### 5/5 — Pretty legit!

*2020-05-10*

I really like this app. It’s helpful for tracking calorie intake and it has a wide range of sources that you can match to what you’ve eaten. Also love the sleep and activity features! If you want to, you can even add pictures of what you’ve eaten and the privacy of data seems pretty secure too. 😌👌 top marks for food print from me!
