## What is FoodScan?

Just take a photo of any product label — foodscan reads the nutrition facts and ingredients, then scores it based on nutrient balance and ingredient quality.

FoodScan analyzes nutrition labels and ingredient lists to give your food a health score from 0 to 100.

HOW IT WORKS
- Photograph the ngredients list and nutrition label
- AI extracts the data instantly
- Get a score (0–100) with a grade: Excellent, Good, Fair, Poor, or Risky
- See exactly what's driving the score — nutrients, ingredients, and processing level

SCORING SYSTEM
foodscan uses a science-backed approach combining:
— Nutritional balance (calories, sodium, sugar, saturated fat, protein, fiber)
— Ingredient quality (natural vs. artificial, high-risk additives)
— NOVA processing level (1–4 scale used by nutrition researchers worldwide)

HISTORY
Every scan is saved locally so you can track what you've been eating and compare products side by side.

Supports Korean and English nutrition labels.
