## What is Foot Size Check?

Foot Size Check measures feet with nothing but a sheet of A4 paper and a photo.

Kids' feet grow fast. Place a foot on A4 paper, take a photo from directly above, and get foot length, width, and a suggested shoe size (JP sizing) right away.

### 1.4 — 2026-08-18

Added the new Trace method — the most accurate way to measure.

- Trace your foot outline on the paper with a pen, then step off and photograph the paper alone. The outline lies flat on the paper, so even angled shots are corrected precisely (about +-3mm)
- The camera now shows a readiness checklist (paper detected / level / distance) so you know exactly when to shoot
- Photos where the paper is not recognized get a hint about the cause and a retake suggestion
- Automatic paper detection now also works for photos picked from your library
- Results show an accuracy estimate for each method
