But... *2021-06-27* Hi all, I am writing a conclusive unbiased review of this game. I am a professional game reviewer, but I wasn’t payed to do this. Just stumbled on the game, enjoyed the idea and thought to give it a go for a few seasons. Well... the game it self it’s very innovative, massive potential but at the moment a amateur final product. Let me explain... 1.) the game is very fun, addicting and has features which are not common in most football games. However, at the same time there is many things which should be improved to make this game potentially my favourite football game at the moment!!! That’s a big statement , hence I gave it 4 stars. (PS: make sure you maintain the free to play vibe, don’t ruin the only game which has a fun feel to it) this game could be big I would like to possibly help the developer with some game issues which would make it stand out further... if so get in contact with me! 2.) The problems. - the game just isn’t perfect... straight from the start I love that game can be played free ... no stupid pay to play ideas which could make the game boring after a week. But at the same time many little facts which have the potential of spoiling the game fun. For example, after finishing a season i recieved over 75 goals, 9.4 rating, and 100 coach relationship... with my club promoted and myself being a star... why does my club offer me a substitute role for next season, when teams in higher divisions want me as a starter? This ruins the element of sticking to one team... Next , why isn’t there 2 transfer windows? The game gets a little boring when having to play 40 games , just to get a small increase in wages and a different club in the next season. The game needs more options, more things to do, external life, and possibly stuff from other games like a possibility of girlfriend, potential for interviews (not only related to transfers) and other miscellaneous ideas. (Eg, gambling) Please this is a must !!!! Also the game is too repetitive, find other ways which can make it more fun. For example, throughout the season, you should be able to negotiate contracts , rather then pick a single one after 40 games ! 3.) positives -Love the idea of progressing, through that system - love the realism at the start where it’s not that easy to get chances , score or pass. -love the interest of clubs, but the transfer system and frequency must be improved **Developer response:** Thank you for this very comprehensive review. A substitute player, even with a perfect game, can't have a rating of 10 because he hasn't played the game since the beginning. ### 3/5 — Decent enough *2021-02-23* Lacks a lot of immersion and depth but as a simplified player career simulator it is fine. I don’t like that your team rely on you to be the sole goalscorer because your teammates are actually terrible at scoring while at the same time will hate you for not passing to them. We will take them into account for future updates. ### 4/5 — Great game, but fix the percentages *2021-02-13* I love this game so far. I’m in my seventh year and it has been great. My only two complaints are 1- how long it takes to level up skills once you get into the 50s/60s and on. I know it should get more difficult as your level gets higher, but it seems like the increase is a bit harsh. 2- the percentage chances in games sometimes seem WAY off. I just played a game where I missed all 7 of my shots that ranged from 30%-48% chance, that doesn’t add up and this happens pretty frequently. The game is a lot of fun, but I’d like to see more accurate chances. **Developer response:** Thank you for your review. We are trying to reproduce the real behavior of a soccer match. Sometimes, a player on a bad day can be unlucky and miss easy shots. On other days, he can be lucky and scores a goal on almost all of his shots. Even playing a simple pass to a teammate standing next to you results in only a 20% chance of success. Best regards ### 2/5 — Not great *2024-07-22* Starts off interesting and quickly gets boring, impossible to get into a big club without spending lots of money, starting off in Ireland and ended up in English league 2 after years even though I was mostly having good games, great ### 2/5 — Right Idea. Wrong execution. *2021-03-04* This game has great potential and I like simplicity of the simulation. Having the three options, run, pass, shoot, is just enough to keep someone immersed into the game. There are a few problems I have though. 1. This is the biggest issue I have. I don’t think you have a formula for the percentages. I think it’s completely random. I had a game where I had 4 chances to do something. I chose run, pass, pass, run. Each chance was 86% or above and I failed every single one. That simply doesn’t make sense. This has happened on more than one occasion. I mean a 30% chance of scoring 1 on 1 with the goalkeeper? You literally have a minimum of a 50% chance of scoring because of the goalkeeper. So the math needs reworked and no it’s not realistic. 2. Maybe it’s a language barrier, because I don’t want to be ignorant, but the English grammar and spelling needs serious attention. It’s like you guys didn’t even check it before you released the app. 3. This is more of a thing I would like to see. Realistic placements of teams. In English league 2, you have Brighton, Burnley, and Aston Villa. All of them are Premier League level teams. Manchester United, Liverpool, and Arsenal are set to be relegated in my current league. Whether or not you like or dislike certain teams, you can’t deny that this is way off realistic. If this app is still being developed, then I apologize for the low rating. I like this game a lot, but it needs close attention. Fix the first issue, and you get 5 stars. Fix the second, and you get 4 stars. That first issue though is painfully bad though. **Developer response:** Thank you for your review. 1. The percentage is calculated based on several criteria: the position of your player, teammates and opponents. The level of opponents and teammates. The level of your attributes, according to the type of action. The percentage displayed in the game is indeed the one used to determine the success or failure of an action. But it is a probability, not a statistic that is systematically verified. For example, if you throw a coin 3 times, it is possible that you will do the same result 3 times. 2. You are absolutely right. We are still working on improving the English translation. 3. Indeed, the starting divisions need to be corrected and this is planned in a future update. Best regards ### 2/5 — Ok for a bit..... *2020-11-17* This game is ok for a bit but then becomes tedious and boring. I enjoyed it for a short while but there is nothing much to do. You have little, if any control over your player during a match except make a choice. That choice appears to have a 50/ 50 outcome regardless of whether your chance to achieve it is 95% or 10%. The times I failed an action that I was told had a 95% chance became worryingly pointless! I was not even happy if a 10% chance was achieved! This really should be looked at by the developer. It's so frustrating when you are given four or five 80%+ likely chances per match only for none of them to come off! Kudos for no ads though. Bien à vous. ### 3/5 — Frustrating *2021-06-21* I think that this game is decent and has potential. However , I personally think I make the correct move 9/10 times and only about 3/10 are ‘correct’. For example, if I am in the box and there is no one to pass to so I’m for forced to shoot how can I possibly be in the wrong . Also if I’m at the half way line and I can only run forward it’s nearly always wrong. The success of an action depends on the attributes of your players, the strength of the opponent, the position of the ball and the players. Making the right choice will maximise your chances of success, but as in real life, a striker does not score every time, even if he is alone against the goalkeeper.
