## What is Football Management?

Football Management is the complete tool for amateur and recreational football coaches and team coordinators. Organize your squad, build lineups, control matches live, and track every stat — all in one place.

SQUAD MANAGEMENT
Add every player with their number, preferred position, and alternative positions. Mark captains and vice-captains, set a star rating, and keep personal notes on each player. Red card suspensions are tracked automatically — suspended players are blocked from selection until their ban is served.

LINEUPS
Choose from 15+ built-in formations or create your own custom formation by entering any row distribution you need. The pitch renders dynamically based on who you assign to each slot. Build and save multiple lineups with different names, assign starters and substitutes, and load them instantly on match day.

MATCH DAY
Set up each match with opponent, date, venue, and home/away status. Confirm which players are going or sitting out. Mark all players at once or one by one. The pre-match setup screen checks everything before you kick off — opponent set, players confirmed, lineup ready.

LIVE MATCH CONTROL
Load your lineup and see your players on the pitch. Tap any player to log an event in seconds:
- Goals — with optional assist
- Yellow and red cards — red cards ask for suspension length automatically
- Substitutions — select who comes off and who comes on from your full squad
- Saves, own goals, and match notes
- Timer with real mm:ss, half time control, extra time, and early finish

The score updates automatically with every logged goal. All events are listed in chronological order and can be deleted if logged by mistake.

STATS & MATCH HISTORY
Every finished match is saved with its full timeline: goals, assists, cards, substitutions, play time per player, and all notes logged during the game. View each match in detail. Player stats accumulate across matches — goals, assists, yellow cards, red cards, minutes played, and appearances. Delete test or friendly matches at any time.

NOTES
Keep tactical notes, player observations, opponent scouting, and training ideas organized by category.

Custom Squad Groups
Organize your roster your way. Create, rename, reorder, and delete your own groups (e.g. Goalkeepers, Center Backs, Wingers, Starters, Under-17s — whatever fits your team). Assign any player to any group from the player editor.
Smarter Substitution Picker
When logging a sub, bench players now appear first — followed by players on the pitch, then anyone not going. No more scrolling through starters to find your substitute.
Undo Live Events
Tapped the wrong button mid-match? Every event in the log now has an undo button. Reverting a goal, card, save, or substitution also rolls back the score and player stats automatically.
Opponent Goals in the Event Log
Opponent goals are now logged alongside your team's events, so you can undo a mistaken tap just like any other event.
Faster Match Kickoff
The pre-match setup screen no longer blocks you from starting. Tap Kick Off whenever you're ready — fill in the details later if you want.
