Many new feet have come out since last update, plus the recent quilt kit upgrade available to those of us with older 15000s. I will upgrade my review to five stars when this app is updated. ### 4/5 — Not All Inclusive *2016-09-24* Some specialty feet are missing: bias binding foot, two cording foot sizes (5 & 7 hole), cover hem foot, belt loop foot, 4 fence quilt binding foot, flower foot, etc. It needs to include serger feet because they can also be used with a sewing machine. It does contain very good information and videos for how to use each foot. My Brother SQ9050 uses Janome snap on and screw on feet, so the app isn't exclusive to Janome machines. ### 4/5 — Footbook *2015-10-04* Very disappointing, I thought it would have all Janome machines but the choice is limited. If your machine is an older type ie: more than eight years or so, it is not listed. There are different types of top loading machines that have snap on feet which fit some machines and not others. For the price it's extremely disappointing do not waste your money. ### 4/5 — Very beneficial - great resource *2014-09-30, version 3.1.2* Even When I owned only 1 Janome machine I found this app to be such a great help. "Sewing machines" are so advanced now and although it's great to have so many choices in feet it can also be daunting to figure out. This app helps you choose the right foot for the job. Now that I've added the 15000 to my sewing room I find this app even more beneficial. I thought the 6600 had awesome features but using the 15000 is like sitting in the cockpit of a jet.... The foot book is one great resource to help in deciding which foot will help you do your best work. I love it!! ### 5/5 — Love it! *2014-08-23* This app is a terrific resource. I have purchased many extra feet for my Janome and think this app will be so helpful to have by my sewing machine for a quick tutorial! I can also keep a wish list (very useful when at shows or visits to dealers). I can also search by sewing task and get a recommendation as to which foot will be most suitable. Great videos! *2013-08-09* FootBook is a fantastic little app with videos of Janome sewing machine feet. You see them in action. Very well done! I'm glad to have it on my iPad mini and my iPhone! It's one of my favorite apps! ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Save your money *2025-01-25* You would think once you “favorite” your sewing machine that the app would be able to identify what feet are compatible with it…. Wrong! It lists ALL feet options so unless you manually add and research compatible feet the app is useless. Save your money. ### 1/5 — Not for all Janome Top Loading *2016-12-17* I bought this to learn how to use the feet that came with my Janome 525S Sewist machine and it does not have the feet for my machine. I finally found on the Janome web site that mine is a 5mm machine and the app is only for 7mm or 9mm. I am very frustrated with the whole thing. I would like my money back but the website for the developer goes to a "site not available" ### 1/5 — Waste of money *2016-06-08* So very disappointed. I was excited at the thought of this app only to find it did not work. Bi-Level Foot 9mm | Part Number: 202461005 The part has been on the market for at least several months so it ought to have been noted by now within the app. Now I’m wondering what else is lacking. The videos of the feet in action is great too. Great Reference tool ### 5/5 — Wonderful Reference *2023-01-01* This has the feet for various Janome sewing machines. You can sort by your machines if you like. It has clear explainations of how to use the dozens of feet you can buy. There is a video demonstration of how to use each one. There is also a print version you can print out. ### 5/5 — Good reference *2022-06-03* The Janome 9450 included many 9mm presser feet. This app provides a decent user summary for using the feet. I can’t rate it high enough. It helps me remember which sewing feet do which job. ### 5/5 — A must have app! *2019-08-19* This is an app I use again and again. Not only does it have simple and helpful videos for each foot, it is printable and gives you the correct serial number to order for your category machine. It also allows you to pick your machine(s) and shows you which feet came with the machine, which you have purchased (you need to tell it when you have) and allows you to mark those feet you would like. Many of my Janome sewing friends have purchased it.
