## What is Footdog?

Footdog is an app designed to help users monitor their surroundings and manage everyday safety by detecting and recording environmental noise.

Using the smartphone’s microphone, Footdog continuously measures ambient sound levels. When noise exceeds a user-defined decibel threshold, the app plays an audible alert and can automatically record video of the situation for later review.
