## What is ForageKit?

ForageKit is your private foraging journal. Log mushroom, plant, and berry finds with photos, GPS pins, and your own field notes — and build a personal map of the spots you trust.

ForageKit does not name your finds, suggest what they might be, or compare your photos to any database. You are the expert. ForageKit remembers what you already know.

What it does:
• Log a find — photo, location, date, and your own notes
• Map view — see every trusted spot at a glance
• Field notes — weather, habitat, companion species, harvest weight; whatever you want to remember
• Seasonal nudges — get reminded when the time of year and your past habits line up
• Safety reminder — every new entry shows a one-line nudge to verify before eating
