## What is Foray?

Foray is a quiet GPS tracker for the outdoors. Record your hikes and rides, find trails near you, and keep a simple log of where you have been — without a social feed, ads, or noise.

TRACK YOUR OUTINGS
Start a recording and Foray follows your route with distance, time, pace, elevation, and splits. A Live Activity keeps the key numbers on your lock screen and Dynamic Island while you move.

FIND TRAILS NEARBY
Browse hiking and cycling trails drawn from OpenStreetMap. Check length, estimated time, shape, surface, and difficulty before you go — along with sunrise and sunset, the hourly forecast, and tide tables where they apply.

PLAN A ROUTE
Sketch a path on the map, save it, and follow it on your next outing.

KEEP A FIELD JOURNAL
Add a short reflection and a few photos to any outing. Look back on your year with a calm summary of your distance, time, and longest days out.

YOURS TO KEEP
Foray works fully on your device — no account required. Sign in with Apple or email only if you want to back up your activities and photos and sync across devices. Your data stays yours, we never sell it, and you can delete your account at any time. Choose your activities, and switch between kilometres and miles to suit how you move.

Trips: plan multi-day adventures. Map out a canoe circuit, a bikepacking route, or an alpine objective as a series of legs, each with a packing checklist and a field journal. Foray a leg and watch your route fill in.

Guides: a curated set of expeditions to browse and make your own. Tap "Plan this trip" to start from one; browse them on a map or filter by activity.

Top speed: every recap and activity now shows your peak speed.

Also: a faster Explore, a fresh launch animation, a cleaner CarPlay card while you record, and "Navigate to start" when a trail's trailhead is far away.
