### 2/5 — Needs major updating

*2024-01-15, version 4.2*

As with others have said, it’s almost impossible to connect to the app. Your saber will always show up as 00:00:00:00:00. If you connect it while it says that, the only thing you will be able to do is adjust to volume. If you want to properly connect it you will have to constantly refresh the scan to get the actual numbers. DO NOT RAPID SPAM THE REFRESH. You will certainly refresh over the numbers and miss it. Also when you do connect, every time you close the app you will have to restart the process all over again.

### 2/5 — Dons’t work well on iOS.

*2023-09-30, version 4.2*

The only thing that works on the iOS version is the volume control and the colour switcher.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work

*2023-09-19, version 4.2*

Please fix for iOS

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work.

*2023-08-21*

Says it binds my sn pixel 4 lightsaber (as 00:00:00:00:00:00) but doesnt.

### 2/5 — Connect problems

*2023-08-04, version 3.2*

Unfortunately have to keep refreshing the scan button to get the number to actually show up, most of the time it is all zeros. Please fix

### 2/5 — Poor connection

*2023-07-07, version 3.2*

I have to keep refreshing to get the number to actually show up, most of the time it is all zeros.

### 1/5 — App does not connect to lightsaber

*2023-06-26*

The app can detect my lightsaber but it won’t connect to it. I hear the features are good, but I have to give the app one star because it is currently unusable for me.

### 1/5 — App doesn’t Bind to lightsaber

*2023-06-17, version 3.1.0*

It’ll say “Binding lightsaber” with the options to click “sure” and nothing ever happens.

It’s basically a broken app that doesn’t connect to the saber at all

### 1/5 — Not working in iOS

*2025-05-04, version 4.2*

Apple should review this company and their apps. A year and still not working, basically turning an expensive lightsaber into a paperweight.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work. Developer response?

*2023-11-17, version 4.2*

Can we please get a response from the developer on this? The app used to work with all my SNv4 sabers. It no longer works with any of them. I heard an update was coming in October ‘23 to fix these issues. It’s now mid-late November, and nothing. Will this be fixed, or should we stop buying SNv4 sabers? Please respond.

### 1/5 — Currently a Useless Application, PLEASE Fix

*2023-10-23, version 4.2*

Great concept and promise, Horrible execution. When you try and connect your saber all Zeros show up as the address. If you connect to the all zero address, you will be able to control the volume. NOTHING ELSE WORKS. If you keep scanning, you MIGHT get lucky and scan an actual address, if you connect to that … well… it’s not much better. Sometimes you strike gold and you can control the saber… for like 45 seconds, then NOTHING. Sometimes, even with a valid address, you simply cannot do anything, but now, when you try… the app crashes. Please fix this app! I will not be investing any more money into SN Pixel boards until this is resolved.

### 1/5 — Horrible, won’t stay connected!

*2023-09-24, version 4.2*

This app will not stay connected to any of my Bluetooth equipped sabers. It keeps disconnecting and I have to keep rescanning in order to use the app and then it’s hit or miss at best. The app creator really needs to address and fix this very annoying problem!

### 5/5 — Learning curve

*2024-03-20, version 4.2*

If it cant connect youre using the wrong saber. This is for snv4’s only.

It works very well, its not perfect but you can work around anything with it.

### 5/5 — PERFECT!

*2023-08-19, version 4.1*

Super easy to use, works flawlessly on all of my sn pixel v4 sabers, could use an overhaul of the overall look but no major complaints

### 5/5 — Works Perfectly

*2023-06-10, version 3.0*

Works great! Lightsaber connects super quick and controls are easy to use.

### 4/5 — It’s worked flawlessly for me

*2023-11-07, version 4.2*

I haven’t had any issue with the app. It stays connected when I’m on and it’s responsive to my actions. Certain aspects can be a bit cumbersome and I wish there were some options not available at this time, but it’s way better than using a button to try and customize everything.

### 4/5 — Its good just need overall work but im sure it will happen soon

*2023-07-15, version 3.2*

Wish the app could have blade brightness

### 3/5 — Really Needs An Update

*2024-08-14, version 4.2*

So I got a new phone because the old one that I was using this one quit working. Unfortunately, the app refuses to work on my new iPhone. I have tried everything I can think of to get it to work and nothing has worked.

I have an brand new iPhone 13 and everything is updated to the latest version. So, maybe the reason why it isn’t working on my new phone is because you need to update the app to the latest version of iOS. So please, fix this problem.

### 3/5 — Needs work

*2024-08-02, version 4.2*

Like others have mentioned, you have to try try and try again to actually get connected. Once you do it works okay. One you close the app you have to ho through the headache of trying to connect again.

The UI is antiquated and could use some polish. I’d be happy to try to throw some spit and polish on it if it were open sourced.

### 3/5 — Not connecting

*2023-06-18, version 3.1.0*

The app looks pretty decent, simple and seems to have some useful options but when I try and connect to my lightsaber the Bluetooth address just reads 00.00.00.00.00.00 on both my sabers

### 2/5 — Frustrating

*2024-05-09, version 4.2*

When the app connects to the saber, it’s fantastic. Responsive and fairly intuitive. I’ve been making new combos of effects with it and it’s almost effortless. The problem is getting the app to actually connect to the saber. Binding the saber and app together is incredibly unstable and inconsistent. I’ve spent the last 45 minutes trying to get the saber to reconnect to the app without success. Would love to see this addressed, but for now, it’s an unnecessary headache but it has to be dealt with to get the most out of my new saber

### 2/5 — Really needs some work for iOS

*2024-02-10, version 4.2*

I bought 2 SN Pixel V4 sabers at the same time. Wish I had only bought 1 once I tried this app. It’s really the reason I decided to go with the SN Pixel V4. I have other sabers I’ve built with Bluetooth and is the CFX board. I guess I was thinking it would work similarly to that. But unfortunately this isn’t the case. Luckily I have a inexpensive android tablet that work a little better although still has issues but not as bad as the iOS version. Having the ability to control how your saber is set up from an app on your phone is a major selling point but it’s very disappointing when the app doesn’t function. There is major potential for this app if they can just get it working correctly. There is a force park V2 app but I haven’t been able to connect with that app either. I hope that these apps will become comparable and function in the future. Until that time I will not be purchasing any more SN Pixel V4 sabers. Looking at Xenopixel instead but will do my research before taking that step.
