I’m a new 40K player and found flipping through the codex to be a real pain and have tried several other apps but Forces is light years ahead of anything I’ve tried so far. So user friendly, and the built in statistics is a ridiculously awesome feature. My only item on my wish list so far would be for me to be able to import or add images of units. As a new player, sometimes I find it easier to recognize my units by what they look like and would be great to see unit images in the app but this is a minor thing. It’s just an informational guide and you can’t add units to it. Complete scam plus there’s zero instruction. ### 1/5 — Hot Garbage *2025-04-09* This app is worthless since battlescribe no longer has support on their app. Doesn’t accept roster files from rosterizer. **Developer response:** You can continue to edit .ros / .rosz files on New Recruit - who have taken over the file type. Turns out it’s just a viewer of another app that builds lists for 40K. Would be 5* if it was a working army builder. ### 3/5 — Decent App, But It Seems Redundant For 40K *2023-07-31* Given that there’s many roster building tools around, it feels this just doesn’t seem necessary unless the MathHammer functions existed. Honestly, I’m just looking for a tool that can simulate my list against chosen units from another one. That’s the dream. This app is positioned to do that, but isn’t quite there. Liste in BattleScribe (BS) zusammenstellen, importieren und fertig. Das Jahresabo von ein paar Euro für die Vollversion ist sehr günstig. Insbesondere wird die App noch weiterentwickelt. This app makes you forget about how rubbish it is because you can see your armies in a nice clean easy to use format with no loss of information. The developer is making updates on the regular, fixing bugs and is very active in the Discord.
