After I FINALLY got connected to the CSP, then to my home network, I was amazed… only for it to then fail to bridge to the Ford Pass app. (Why is CSP a stand alone app and not just integrated into Ford Pass by default.. or an option to check/uncheck if you want that feature?? ) So now my truck charges at like 2kw /hr. This app is garbage and the devs should be ashamed. Go back to python for dummies, maybe ask ChatGPT to code it for you? Charger Connected to the app the first time. Never stays connected. Tried step 2 to connect the charger to my ford pass app and it failed saying incorrect charge station or access code. Over and over. Those are fields the app populated itself. Called support. They told me to shut off my charger at the breaker. Not sure why since other than two poorly designed apps, the charger works fine. I will likely never get this to work which is a bummer for a 50k car. ### 1/5 — Zero out of 5 *2024-12-02* Useless, after 30 minutes was able to get this app to find the charger. It does no good however because you can not use this app to get the ford pass app to recognize the charger which is what it’s supposed to do. Have tried doing it manually and through the apps. Does not work. ### 1/5 — App does not work *2024-11-04* I’ve had a very frustrating experience with the Ford Charge Station Pro app. Initially, I had the charger successfully connected to my Wi-Fi network, but every time I tried to link the Ford Charge Station Pro app with the FordPass app, both apps would crash. I contacted support for help, and they advised me to turn off the charger at the electrical panel and perform a reset. After doing that, my charge station became stuck in reset mode. I called support again, and they suggested the same reset steps, but now my Ford Charge Station Pro won’t reconnect to Wi-Fi. Support then told me I might need a separate Wi-Fi network for the app to function correctly. It’s incredibly disappointing that the app was working fine at first, but after following support’s guidance, the situation only worsened. The facts that yall don’t even respond to these reviews proves my point yall don’t care. ### 1/5 — Disappointed, Ford=Joke *2024-07-13* Purchased Ford lightning, truck is good. Nothing else is, integration between truck and ALL electronics and apps rates zero ! My Ford Pro Charger is a joke, won’t let me adjust amps off amp, won’t show charge rates on Ford Pass app, nothing they do or have is working. Ford mapping, awful and inaccurate, my Tesla stuff is flawless, Fords Blue oval/Electrify America system is unreliable and very expensive, have 4 chargers on site with one working and people waiting. I purchased a Tesla adapter and have gone 100 percent charging to Tesla superchargers, only use fords in emergency. All the bad PR on the lightning truck really isn’t about the truck, I’m happy with it. But everything else they have to go along to support the truck has failed. I have 2 Tesla cars and the entire system is fabulous, I just couldn’t afford a Tesla truck. Get your act together ford !!! ### 1/5 — DANGER - WARNING. The app doesn't limit the charge rate *2024-04-30* So it looked like there are 2 ways to set the maximum current when charging. In the app there is a screen and a slider that allows you to change the amperage from 6A to 80A. It doesn't work. My charger was set to 80A and no matter what I did the charging station pro would run at or even over 80A. If you want to dial down the Amperage that the unit runs at you need to change the physical dial that is inside the unit. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t connect with FordPass *2024-04-14, version 1.6.0* App is useless. Connected to the charger but it won’t pair with FordPass. Constantly says wrong id even though everything is correct. ### 1/5 — Clunky App - unreliable *2024-03-13* Pure frustration trying to get thus app to work. Ford customers should not have to work this hard to get a important device like a charger to work. I have spent a number of hours fiddling with this thing. Seems like I finally got the charger on the network but then car did not charge overnight as scheduled. Now charger is off line and not connected. Like others, i have a network repeater in the garage so the network signal is super strong. My Tesla charger has no problem getting and staying on my network. Ford needs to set higher standards for its third party developers or learn how to do things themselves so they can be proud to put the Ford logo on things. I received a free Ford Charge Station Pro and free basic installation with my Mach-E purchase. But this had not worked. The charger works, the car is great, but there is no network connection or additional benefit. Pretty insightful information from there. Great addition to my FordPass app, and can better keep track of my actual electricity usage. The app is used to enable your charge station to connect to your network and then configure the Ford Pass app to see it. That’s all it does… For me, it connected right away. Setup the network. Configured Ford Pass. And done. Delete the app now. True, it might have been better to include this functionality into the Ford Pass app. But…. It is what it is…. ### 3/5 — Please integrate with Enphase *2023-11-30, version 1.6.0* While this is a nice device I will not be ripping out my Enphase system for V2H or V2G.
