Every so often I try to add it to my WiFi so I can reset it remotely when it stops working in sub 10 degree weather. I can pair it but can never get it to connect to the WiFi network with a great signal. Obviously everyone that uses this app finds frustrating. Also falls die App irgendeinen Mehrwert haben sollte, so zumindest nicht wenn man keinen Ford fährt. Then the Ford Pass App asks to setup the Charge Station, which relaunches the Charge Station App, restarts the setup process. It works then it doesn’t. ### 1/5 — Don’t even bother *2026-05-23, version 1.2.4* This app is garbage and the customer service is worse. It refuses to connect to the Ford app. Do yourself a favor and buy a cheaper charger and just use the Ford app to control your charging. ### 1/5 — Can’t Connect to Ford Pass *2026-04-19, version 1.2.4* The app stalls when trying to connect to my Ford Pass account. Followed all the instructions, connected via Bluetooth to the charger, connected it to the wifi (even independently confirmed a strong signal to the charger through my router), but the last step always fails - can’t connect the charger to my Ford Pass account. Called customer service multiple times. They’re very polite, but no one there can fix this issue. They claim they’re going to escalate, but no one has called me back. Some of these reviews go back years. Ford clearly doesn’t want to solve this problem. Would give it zero stars if I could. ### 1/5 — Nonfunctional *2026-02-24, version 1.2.4* Just got the charger installed. Added this app to connect to the Ford app for additional information and stuff. As others have said the app does not remember your station so you have to input the information again. If you try to manually add it in the Ford app it fails saying the information is incorrect when you can clearly see the sticker with the information. Whomever is coding this app needs to start from scratch as it is a waste of the users time and phone space having an app that does not function. My suggestion is to remove it from the App Store and start over from the ground up. It does remember the station so you have to pair every single time you open it. It does not tell you if it has WiFi signal or not. Does not tell you if it’s updating. There are no options to adjust in the app. Apparently it connects to the other ford apps but it is unable to do even that.
