I built Forecast Friends because I couldn't find the weather app I wanted: one place where I could see everything about my weather, quickly check on the people and places I care about, and see the next four days drawn as a cartoon instead of a wall of numbers. Forecast Friends brings it all together. Add family, friends, favorite places and upcoming destinations, and each gets a complete, glanceable weather card. Keep the people and places that matter in one scroll. Your own location stays pinned at the top. Each card is packed with useful weather information, but designed for a glance: • Current conditions, feels-like temperature, high and low • 24-hour temperature, rain, wind and gust chart • Seven-day forecast • Wind speed, gusts and direction • Humidity, dew point and pressure • UV, cloud cover, air quality and pollen • Sunrise, sunset and moon information • Tide curves for U.S. coastal locations FOUR DAYS, IN FOUR FRAMES Turn any forecast into an illustrated four-panel weather cartoon covering today and the next three days. Each cartoon is generated fresh from the forecast, with wildlife and scenery inspired by the location. It's a fast, fun way to see what's ahead — and easy to share. SEE THE WEATHER Open the map for radar and satellite, along with: • Lightning • Temperature and feels-like • Air quality • Wind speed • Severe-weather alerts for U.S. locations On iPhone and iPad, you'll also find animated wind particles, wildfire perimeters, hurricanes, smoke and snow. ALERTS THAT MATTER Every card shows active official weather alerts at a glance. Premium adds push notifications for severe-weather warnings affecting the people and places you choose, plus rain-starting alerts for your current location. A Live Activity follows the rain right on your Lock Screen. The cartoons are so much fun to view. I’ve been adding cities just to see what animals are local to the areas. The only negative is when I look at countries that use Celsius, the cartoon speaks in Celsius even though I have selected Fahrenheit in settings. Not a huge deal, just an observation. Other than that it’s a lot of fun! ### 5/5 — Super fast *2026-09-19* Very fast and the cartoon strip is really cool. ### 5/5 — User friendly *2026-09-19* The app is great, very easy to navigate and understand! Everything you need to know is organized on the main screen and the cartoons are a fun touch! ### 5/5 — Unique in a good way *2026-09-19* Love the amount of data I can see at once. Cartoons are fun and actually useful. The premium maps fire layer is useful. Pollen is rare in these types of apps so I’m happy to see it here. ### 5/5 — Wonderful app *2026-09-19* This app is great! Everything is right there at your fingertips and I love the cartoons. ### 5/5 — Excellent Weather App *2026-09-19* This app is incredibly intuitive. I love that all essential weather information is easy to view on a single, clean layout. ### 5/5 — More than a cute weather app! *2026-09-18* I’ve been having so much fun with this app. I added friends and family in different places, and every day they get their own weather cartoon with a different animal based on where they live. It’s genuinely fun checking in to see what animal my friend in New Zealand gets, what’s happening in Miami, and what shows up for me. But the maps have actually been surprisingly useful, too. I was looking at the premium map with the airflow and noticed fires nearby and how the wind was moving. That tipped me off that smoke was probably heading my way, even though other weather apps were still showing good air quality for my area. Sure enough, the air quality got worse. That’s what I really like about Forecast Friends: it’s playful and fun, but there’s a lot of serious weather data underneath it. I can check on the people I care about, get a laugh from the daily cartoons, and actually dig into what’s happening with the weather when I want to. ### 5/5 — This one is fun! *2026-09-18* I love how much detail you get at a glance, and the characters and cartoons make this app pretty fun ## Frequently asked questions about Forecast Friends Weather ### What is Forecast Friends?
