Beautiful. Almost Perfect. *2019-03-26, version 1.1.2* This is the first app review I’ve ever written. But this app merits it. Unlike weather wonks, I neither need nor want maps, radar, storm warnings, and the like. Those who do can find such elsewhere. All I want is the weather. That’s it. No advertising, no charts, just the basics. Forecast delivers and does so beautifully. It’s lovely to look at, easy to read, and simple to navigate. Great stuff. Really great! Two improvements I’d like to see. First is that the app would automatically refresh. When left open on my xs the temperature reading does not change from when I first opened it, even if it’s hours later. I have to get out of the app and reopen it to get the updated correct temperature. Second, I’d appreciate the ability to add additional locations. The. Best. *2019-03-24, version 1.1* Apple’s weather app is “fine.” I liked Yahoo’s until they mucked it up with ads IN THE MIDDLE OF THE WEATHER. My favorite was Dark Sky...until now. When I launch a weather app, I want to see, umm, the weather. I don’t need fancy graphics and ads. Forecast may literally be perfect. If I read this review, I might think it was fake, but it is not. I have written one or two reviews ever. One minute after launching this app and swiping around its incredibly intuitive interface, I knew I had to write a review. The app reminds me of Apple’s earlier work. Well designed. Beautiful to look at. Easy to use. This could become my default weather app for local weather. Thanks to the developers for a beautiful app. Two glitches. It took a couple try’s to get the app to switch from Celsius to Fahrenheit. Multiple days labeled with the same tag. I’m showing Sunday Sunday Tuesday Tuesday Thursday Thursday. Thank you for making “I hate Monday’s” disappear but I do miss “Wednesday = Humpday”. ^_^ ### 4/5 — Great app - One Criticism *2019-03-23, version 1.1* I just downloaded and installed the app today. I really like it. My one complaint/criticism is that the settings icon appears in the lower left-hand corner, covering the humidity information. If it could be moved to the upper left-hand corner, I would appreciate it. Granted, some developers have tried, but their creations lack the style, precision or concision of “Forecast”. This one is intuitive and it definitely looks like it is going to be my daily driver. The weather widget is great and what I was hoping Apple would have done themselves. Now looking at, the whole left side could be shifted up. Text isn’t centered within the column, too close to bottom, lots of whitespace at the top. Also, black background with white text is very easy to read. All the other background colors, especially dark orange with the black text is difficult to read. Text on bottom left looks best in white, matching the text on top, no reason to change the color... —————————————- Humidity reading in the bottom left is blocked by the settings button. How about moving it to the top left. Also the text color of those readings there in black is difficult to read. All the other text in white is much easier to read against the background color choices. All the text would be best displayed in white. Most important thing missing is multiple locations. As in Tue, Thu, Thu, Sat, Sat, Mon as of today Tuesday March 26 Developer is very responsive. An app that Apple should have created in the first place. ### 5/5 — Forecast days are off by one day-it’s fixed now *2019-03-29, version 1.1.3* Today is Wednesday. This is shown on the left side. The forecast days(shown on the right) also starts with Wednesday where that is the weather for Thursday. I compared it with other apps and figured out that the days on the forecast tab (on the right) are a day off. Please fix this. Apart from this, I love the simplicity of this app. Will give 5 stars as soon as this is fixed. Thanks.
