## What is Forelock?

Forelock keeps everything about the horse in one place — the work, the feed, the farrier, the vet, the results — and puts it in your pocket for the moments that need it.

ON EVENT DAY
Your times, your rings, and what's actually happening at the gate. Walk the course knowing the surface, the entries, and how you've gone here before.

AT THE YARD
The day's work and feeds at a glance. Log a ride in seconds. Record a video and send it to your coach — and get their voice back over your own footage.

THE WHOLE HORSE
Every session, health event, shoeing and result builds the horse's record — so the story is there when the vet asks, when the season turns, or when a new rider takes over.

Forelock is made at a working farm in North Canterbury, New Zealand, and shaped daily by the people who use it.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.3.3 — 2026-10-15

Tapping a show-day alert now opens the ride it's about. Fall alerts, and the "Are you okay?" check after a fall, can come through Do Not Disturb and Sleep if you allow Time-Sensitive Notifications for Forelock. Your saved Forelock password now fills in for you. Plus fixes across horse records, medications and notifications.

### 1.3.2 — 2026-10-06

• Add your horse's ESNZ number, so its rides at EVO shows appear under My rides.
• Placings and how each ride went appear on your rides once a show's results come through.
• Clearer messages when something can't be saved.
• Fewer false "may be out of date" warnings in the week before a show.

### 1.3.1 — 2026-09-21

This update includes reliability and security improvements, with clearer app-update information in Settings.

### 1.3.0 — 2026-09-20

A clearer picture of your horse, from results to the week ahead.

- Browse competition results and insights together, with clearer information when results are incomplete.
- See a horse-by-horse weekly overview of planned work, completed sessions, care and upcoming competitions.
- Review preparation patterns from comparable past competitions when enough recorded evidence is available.
- Plan activities and record how sessions and competitions felt, keeping the next decision connected to your horse’s history.
- Improvements to navigation, date selection, care forms and saving feedback on iPhone.

### 1.2.0 — 2026-08-29

Record a ride with GPS — distance, time and a walk/trot/canter estimate, with the phone locked in your pocket. If you take a fall mid-ride and don't answer the phone's check, your yard and your guardians are alerted with your location. You can also say when you expect to be back — if the ride runs over and you don't answer, the same people are told.
