## What is ForensicRef?

Your reference library, ready when you need it.

ForensicRef helps investigators and consultants organize and search their own reference PDFs on iPhone and iPad. Import the documents you use, find relevant pages, and return to the source with its context intact.

SEARCH YOUR REFERENCES
Search across your library or choose specific documents. Find pages containing your search terms, view short previews, and open a result directly to its source page. Save frequently used searches for quick reuse.

KEEP THE SOURCE IN VIEW
Read the original PDF, jump to a page, and bookmark pages you want to revisit. Browse a document's built-in contents or look up chapter numbers, section numbers, and heading titles. Available navigation depends on the document's outline and readable text.

WORK WITH SCANNED DOCUMENTS
On-device text recognition helps make scanned pages searchable. Search highlighting helps you locate matching text when it can be recognized precisely. Recognition quality depends on the original document.

BUILD YOUR OWN LIBRARY
Import PDFs from Files, give documents useful titles, and add document notes. Keep manuals and reference materials together for convenient access after import and indexing.

PRIVATE, ON-DEVICE REFERENCE
Document storage, indexing, and search happen on your device. No account is required to use ForensicRef.

ForensicRef does not include third-party standards, manuals, or code books. Import only documents you own, license, or are authorized to use. It is a reference and lookup tool, not a system for generating forensic opinions or legal advice.
