I am trying to click or changing The date button every Part or corner and its not allowing me to do it the subtitles, amount, repeats and type of frequent is working butthe category and On date not allowing me to edit. I use it daily to manage my family finances and consider it an essential daily tool. This app does that. I put in all my income and all my expenses and if i ever go into negative that means i have spent money that was not planned for. This app helps me track that. (So long I’ve forgotten, but I think approx 10 years!) It not only helps me keep up with my current budget, but also helps me save with a projected budget. The app is easy to work around and allows multiple accounts, as well as regular payments and one off payments. I have on occasions contacted the designers with possible changes , which they have always replied to and tried to accommodate. I know how to use the freaking program. I should be given a choice if I want to do the tutorial. **Developer response:** Do you still see an issue in v1.12.0? Once the tutorial is completed it should not pop up again unless you ask it to or you start from scratch. It’s easy and simple. Not overdone with stuff I don’t need. I just want to look at the app and be able to see how much money I have currently and in the near future without looking too hard. It is simple and accurate. ### 4/5 — The application closes unexpectedl *2024-09-15, version 1.9.98* When trying to modify or restore a transaction the application closes unexpectedly ### 4/5 — Great app, suggestions *2024-04-05* A few things to note: On mortgage types the payment can potentially constitute of two parts a) the EMI (principal + interest) b) Escrow amount (money for taxes etc). I have to unnecessarily inflate the interest rate to match the end date because my payment amount is not just EMI. Also, it would be nice to have a custom view of just selected categories. I might want to view just all bank accounts/or just all revolving accounts/or just all loans/ or just combination of the above few. I don’t know what I would do without it. My one unfulfilled wish with regard to improvements is that it provide a field for notes in each entry, and that it provide a means for calculating subtotals for average monthly outflows. My only fear is if this app stops working or stops being supported, I don’t know what I’d do. My one and only gripe, and the reason I docked a star, is that it is extremely slow. I have an iPhone 13 Pro Max so I highly doubt it’s my device. Every time you do anything in the app a spinning icon pops up and it takes a good 5-10 seconds between being able to do anything. **Developer response:** Thanks for the compliment. Gives me an overview of where I stand financially at any given time. This app will help me get out of debt faster. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Installed but unable to set up on my MacBook *2025-10-23, version 1.14.2* I was able to open the app, and access a couple of features, but could not add any of my payments. The app froze multiple times, and I had to Force Quit and re-start. I gave up. ### 1/5 — My data disappeared *2023-06-11* One week ago I downloaded the app and input expenses. Today the app had a different appearance and new functions. All my data was gone. Advice received from support did not work. **Developer response:** Apologies, unfortunately by the time we got back to your chat you were already gone, which was our fault. Are you certain you were not just in a different account by accident? There have been no major changes to the app recently. However, there are two main layouts - the graph screen that you get introduced to during the initial tutorial and the account screen where all the schedules/plans are listed. It looks like you were able to pick the Archive where any entries that you have put in and that have since come to pass would show up under the default (Personal) account. You should also see all the future forecasts and the forward looking graph initiated by the schedules you put in during the tutorial… feel free to reach out, ideally via the UserVoice link in the app which will create a ticket on our end that we can respond to. ### 1/5 — Crashes Immediately *2022-11-17, version 1.9.44* I just downloaded this and on both my Mac Mini and my iPhone, this app crashes immediately. Cannot even change frequently required elements like actual balance with ease. I was unable to get recurring transactions to work consistently (by that I mean it worked once and then refused to allow anything else but single non recurring transactions. If the answer is in there somewhere it’s not easy to find. Apps should make life easier and I don’t have time to deal with poor documentation and glitchy apps. I am always trying to find an app that can meet my needs when it comes to future casting accounts. This one has come the closest to what I’ve been searching for but there is room for some improvement. The transactions are almost forced to clear on the due date you enter. My default setting is to not have items auto clear on the due date but I still find myself having to manually turn it off each time. It would be nice to mark transactions as pending in case they don’t go from where they sit in your forecast to immediately clearing. I like to match the current balance and the pending balance. I have to manipulate the due dates for everything that is sitting between the posted and pending transactions. It would be nice for this option. Another minor request would be for the system to recognize commonly used phrases so you don’t have to type each payee/payor each time. As of right now, those are my two main gripes but overall, I’ve enjoyed it. We’re looking forward to version 2.0 that will hopefully update the sharing feature and allow for more seamless editing between spouses/households/partners. **Developer response:** Thank you for this thorough feedback. For transactions that should not automatically clear, have you considered using the Manual clear type with Auto-Clear disabled at the plan level? It keeps each planned transaction pending until you clear it yourself. Also, the recently released version 1.17 added quick subtitle suggestions, allowing you to search and reuse previously entered payees/payors without retyping them each time. Your suggestions are greatly appreciated, and there is more coming very soon! ### 5/5 — So Good *2026-04-28* This App is everything I have been looking for.
