## What is Forest Waltz?

Forest Waltz is an original strategy board game where trick-taking card play meets forest tile-laying on a hexagonal board.

HOW IT PLAYS
Play cards to win tricks. Winners collect terrain tiles — water, rock, tree, flower — and place them into their hex forest. Build the habitat patterns animals love: flowers by the water attract frogs, clustered trees invite deer. First to complete a pattern scores big as the animal moves in. Highest score becomes ruler of the forest!

ORIGINAL MECHANICS
- Lotus: plant a flower on water and watch it bloom (swans adore it)
- Mushrooms: trees next to stone hills sprout mushrooms automatically (snails come sniffing)
- Season trumps: each season brings a random trump suit that reshapes your card strategy

- 13 watercolor animals with a different lineup every game
- 3 AI personalities: sleepy Bunny, clever Fox, and the calculating Professor Owl
