I’m having issues with the 2nd version. The camera is saving blank photos. This makes the game extra difficult as the camera is used frequently in the game. ### 3/5 — Color Problem *2017-12-19, version 1.4* This is a good game but almost impossible for a person who is color blind to play it. There are too many puzzles involving color and no provision for color blindness. A lot of games today are providing for this but not Glitch. My wife has perfect color vision and still had a hard time getting the flower pot puzzle. Two stars off for this and no more Glitch games. ### 4/5 — Creative and Complex *2015-08-07, version 1.2* This game was very well done, very creative and thought provoking, and long. That's really nice to see in a game that you're going to put your time into. So overall, I enjoyed it. The storyline never is explained, but it's interesting. It starts getting hard to follow the clues to solve the puzzles though, especially at the end as there are so many places and objects and clues up to that point that it's hard to keep track of things, and I kept using the hint option mainly just because I was tired of having to remember everything that that clue could possibly go to. Hooked at the thoughtfulness of the game, I was more than willing to purchase forever lost. The first one was very fun, but I have to say the second episode blew me away, and if couldn't be happier!!! There were no software problems either. The things on the edges (menu, camera, briefcase” either are not there or when i close and re open are cut off on the edge of the screen. I cannot back out. My game autosaved and closing and reopening does nothing. I was enjoying this until they started slipping in obscene words. Why???!!! Do you really not know any other words? Now I am hesitant to play Episode 3 and I already paid for it. It's longer and much more in depth, giving you access to explore larger places. I found the puzzles to be just as, if not more clever and challenging. The reason why this is my favorite in the series is because of the storyline. With memories, and exploring Jason's past and childhood, you begin to connect with the character and also learn more about the others. Glitch Games knows how to deliver you the right amount of information. Not too much to where you lose interest, but only enough to leave you guessing and wanting more! ### 5/5 — Same challenge, but longer *2020-01-29, version 1.6* I love the Forever Lost series, and this is a worthy second chapter. It’s longer than the previous game in the series, and even more challenging. The puzzles fit neatly into the story and are part of the environments, which I find far more interesting than your standard hidden object/slider puzzle/combination lock puzzle games in the genre. There are plenty of great puzzles in Forever Lost 2, and I didn’t find any of them to be so frustrating I couldn’t solve them without hints (although putting the game down for a while and coming back with fresh eyes helped). The atmosphere is spooky, but it’s obvious that the developers have tongues planted firmly in cheeks, which lightens the mood (and occasionally provides solutions). I found the SD version to look just fine on both my iPhone and my iPad, and it didn’t hinder gameplay in the least, but I guess if you have the extra $ to spend on HD, why not. The game experience is definitely worth it, either way. ### 5/5 — Wow *2019-02-05, version 1.6* All these years since the release and I never wanted to try this game... because i didn't care much for episode 1. But just recently purchased it and I'm super impressed with this episode 2. Hands down better than the first episode. If you liked The Room or intricate puzzle games with a great vibe, interesting storyline, and intuitive but challenging puzzles-this is your series. Playing v. 1.2 on a 6s plus I did not experience any game-interrupting glitches. The game was really long for $2...I spent most of an afternoon on it. A lot of the puzzles were really clever (occasionally to the point of being totally obscure) and I had a few "aha" moments, which is a fun part of playing these type of games. There were even some funny little jokes built in. I do not love the "plot," but the feel of the game is good and there are some parts that are outright creepy, which I like. I'm usually pretty stingy with 5 stars, but this was such an improvement over episode 1, and such a long and complex game for the price, that I think it deserves it. ### 5/5 — Be sure to SWIPE the keycard *2016-03-03, version 1.2* If you're having trouble with this... it takes a downward swipe, not just a tap. This is very unintuitive and should be explained.
