I cannot move forward. ### 1/5 — Qué terrible tsk tsk *2020-11-26, version 1.7.9* Seriously. App is really buggy. Literally nothing happens when you try to do something. Would not recommend at all. I just wish it worked properly. I’m stuck in the fundamentals course in the adjectives section. It won’t go past nationalities, even if I get everything correct. I tried testing out of the whole section, and get everything correct, but it won’t register and still stays I can’t move on. I’ve tried logging out and back in, uninstalling the app and reinstalling. Same issue every time. I must have done that section at least 10 times by now lol. Idk, it’s a good app if it works for you. Worth a shot. I’m posting this review in hopes that they’ll look into it and fix the issue. ### 3/5 — Incredible Teaching Method That Crashes *2020-10-04, version 1.7.5* This is insanely helpful and an amazing way to refresh and learn Spanish, but crashes mid-lesson constantly, causing me to have to start over. I would tout this as the best Spanish app but for the crashing (even after the most recent update). ### 3/5 — How do I make it work? *2020-08-07, version 1.6.6* I made an account, now what? ### 4/5 — Amazing but could have been better *2023-08-27* I really like this app and have learn a lot on this app just with in a day or a week, but the only thing I don’t like about this app is that it doesn’t let me review lessons that I did after I finished them just to practice, It only lets me review and practice them when I finished the whole unit but I prefer to review them and practice when I finish a lesson in that unit not after I finish the whole unit. I’ve used the app for a while and then stopped and now I’m back and it’s pretty good. From a language learning perspective it’s really great how ir teaches like an interactive textbook and being able to use it as a point of reference for progress is motivating. It is also minimalistic which is good but there are some things I wish were different. The vocab words number on my profile doesn’t seem to change even after doing more units, not sure if it’s broken. Also, with that it might be helpful to include a way to review words flash card style or at least see the list of known words. I appreciate the app though and would love to see it grow and improve with maybe even more languages. ### 5/5 — Amazing app! *2023-04-12* This app is aesthetically pleasing, and just concise enough that you learn all the essential information without unnecessarily tedious or useless vocab overload. I love the updated content, it is user friendly the small units make it easy to learn Spanish and I like that you have the written phrases and someone pronouncing the phrase it is really helpful in learning espanol. Thank for all your hard work this is a beautiful beautiful amazing app! I would be happy even if it only had Spanish because the app is so comprehensive. Better to have one language done well than several subpar ones. As someone who loves ui and ux, I’m impressed by how simplistic yet effective the design of the app is. It feels like an interactive textbook. The Spanish curriculum is very similar to the one I took in middle school, only much less stuffy. It starts with pronunciation and then to cognates and then keeps building up from there. The lessons are nicely bite sized. The assignments at the end are very similar to Duolingo and other language apps in general but I don’t mind. This is hands down one of the best Spanish apps out there, especially considering it is free. ### 5/5 — Really good program *2021-02-05, version 1.7.9* I have lots of language apps but I keep coming back to Forge. I teaches without playing games, and I like that. The repetition is well spaced, and it works well for me when I start to hate the others I’m using. ### 5/5 — Fantastic Explanations *2021-01-16, version 1.7.9* Explains grammar in a straightforward (and somehow entertaining) manner so that you can wrap your head around the concepts. I absolutely love this app, I am surprised that it doesn’t have more reviews and downloads. I seen it as a recommendation on a YouTube video and downloaded instantly. The fact that it’s 100% free is absolutely amazing.
