## What is Forge?

Forge is a strength training app built around the GZCLP program — a proven, linear progression system for building strength efficiently.

Track your workouts, follow structured programming, and let the app handle the math. Forge automatically progresses your weights based on your performance, adjusting when you succeed and deloading when you need it.

Features:
- GZCLP linear progression program built in
- Automatic weight progression and deloading
- Workout history tracking
- Clean, focused interface — no clutter, just your workout
- Syncs your training data across sessions
- Works offline with automatic retry when back online

Whether you're new to the gym or an experienced lifter looking for a simple, effective training tool, Forge keeps you focused on what matters: getting stronger.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.0.6 — 2026-07-30

• The workout screen now holds together at large and accessibility text sizes — the set table, rest timer and workout stats no longer run off the edge of the screen, and the set checkmark stays reachable.
• Bodyweight exercises read properly: sets show "BW" rather than a 0, and your previous reps show instead of a dash.
• Bigger tap targets for the set checkmark and the set-type button.
• AMRAP sets are now marked on the set they apply to, not just in the exercise subtitle.
• Polish: volume totals are grouped (4,700 rather than 4700), and every exercise shows an icon.

### 1.0.5 — 2026-07-24

• More accurate progression targets — the "previous" set you're compared against now comes from your last session of the same GZCLP workout day, so your suggested weights and reps line up with the right prior workout.

### 1.0.4 — 2026-07-23

• Swap exercises mid-workout — substitute any lift (like Romanian Deadlifts for deadlifts) and your GZCLP program remembers it across sessions.
• Progress charts now track each lift slot on its own, with separate T1 and T2 lines.
• More accurate GZCLP progression, based on the reps you actually log.
• Rest time is now saved per exercise.
• Rest-timer polish: smoother set-row scrolling, a better-placed keyboard button, and layout fixes.
• Fixed the Upcoming workouts list.

### 1.0.3 — 2026-07-08

• More secure sign-in: your account and workouts are now protected by fully verified Sign in with Apple sessions.
• Added the Inverted Row — a bodyweight back exercise, now the GZCLP B2 accessory.
• Fixed swipe-to-delete on set rows: a vertical scroll no longer accidentally reveals the delete, and only one row opens at a time. Tapping elsewhere or scrolling tucks it away.
• The rest-timer bar now fills cleanly to the bottom edge.
• Polish and stability fixes.

### 1.0.1 — 2026-07-04

• Prefer RDLs? You can now swap the deadlift slot for Romanian Deadlifts in Settings.
• Recent workouts now show the weight and reps you actually lifted, at a glance.
• Redesigned profile stats — tap any stat for an interactive, scrubbable chart.
• Layout and polish fixes.
