## Version history (last 4 releases)

### 1.1.2 — 2026-09-21

Two new health metrics, and a lot of polish.

- Recovery: a new daily score that answers one question, is your body ready to train. It combines your heart rate variability, your sleep and its stages, your resting heart rate, your respiratory rate and your wrist temperature, each compared against your own 60 day baseline.
- Tap any day on the recovery chart to see that day's detail.
- Stress rebuilt: it is now computed from the gap between your heart rate and your resting rate, across the whole day. Full curve in 30 minute slices, high, low, average, and time spent in each zone.
- The stress and recovery sheets cite their scientific sources.
- A pill at the top of the screen announces the Apple Health sync, then its completion.
- Fixed a day rollover bug: no more yesterday's numbers in the morning.
- Reorder your exercises mid session.
- Native toolbar buttons during a workout.
- Round OK key on the number pad.
- On Apple Watch, once every set is logged, choose to finish or keep going.
- The app is now fully translated into English.
- Shadows, corner radii and contrast reworked across every card.
- Haptic feedback and a small chevron on the cards that open.
- Lower battery use during workouts.

### 1.1.1 — 2026-09-17

- New Streak sheet: your record, weeks in a row, last 12 weeks and your most consistent days.
- The Intervals sheet now fits its content.
- Softer scroll edges throughout the app.
- Fixed: tapping the Streak or Water card opened the weekly recap.

### 1.1 — 2026-09-16

NEW
- New Icon
- Forge now speaks English: the whole app, widgets, Live Activity and Apple Watch follow your iPhone's language.
- Your profile: Forge greets you by name, and you can connect Apple Health right from onboarding. Already using Forge? A "Complete your profile" card is waiting on the Home tab.
- Detailed body measurements: sixteen sites, left and right, with their charts (Forge Plus). Weight and body fat stay free.
- Redesigned calendar: browse by month, see each day in detail (completed, planned or recovery day), colored by training volume.
- Step-by-step demos on exercise pages, and videos that play right inside Forge.
- A smarter library: favorites, when you last did an exercise, how many times, and your custom exercises highlighted.
- A new built-in number pad to log sets faster, with previous and next field buttons.
- Sleep: advice based on your nights and what the research says. Stress score: how it's calculated and calibration progress.
- Redesigned weekly recap, with a personal notification when it's ready.
- Redesigned Live Activity and Dynamic Island, with the rest ring.
- Offer codes: tap "I have a code" in the Forge Plus screen.
- Settings: Apple Watch app status, pre-filled bug reports, and a card that lets you know when a new version is out.

IMPROVEMENTS
- End of rest: a longer sound you won't miss, notification permission asked at the right time, and a warning if an iOS setting blocks the alert.
- Your watch now vibrates when rest ends even with your iPhone asleep, and the Watch app reliably opens when a workout starts.
- Charts: tap a chart to read the exact value and date.
- Health data measured by your watch (heart rate, energy) stays on your iPhone, never in iCloud.

FIXES
- Workouts tracked on Apple Watch no longer show up twice in Health, and calories are no longer counted twice.
- Fixed a crash when tapping the "Rest over" notification.
- Fixed plurals and number formatting.
