## What is Forgewood?

Escape into Forgewood, a cozy village-building life simulation where the town you build keeps living even when you put your phone down.

Forgewood is a fully rendered low-poly 3D world, not a flat menu-driven idle game. Pan, zoom, and orbit over rooftops during a real day-and-night cycle, or step down into first-person mode and walk the streets yourself — greet residents, forage roadside plants, fish the millpond, and watch the railway pull into the station.

BUILD A LIVING TOWN
Forage Wood, Stone, Berries, Herbs, Mushrooms, and Crops from glowing resource nodes, then spend what you gather to raise ten unique buildings — Cottage, Garden, Barn, Workshop, Market Stall, Forge, Laboratory, Foundry, Portal Nexus, and the mysterious Skyforge — each with its own production bonus. Lay snapped, grid-based roads and drag buildings anywhere on the placement grid to shape a village layout that's genuinely yours.

MEET THE RESIDENTS
Forgewood isn't populated by anonymous workers. Mara Thorne, Orin Thorne, Pip Bramble, Sera Vale and their neighbors have homes, jobs, daily schedules, and dialogue that reacts to the weather, the season, new buildings, and railway visitors.

A WORKING STEAM RAILWAY
A real steam locomotive, tender, passenger and freight cars follow the curved track into the station on a schedule — delivering mail-order goods, cargo, and visiting merchants, and drawing residents down to the platform for every arrival.

ALWAYS SOMETHING ON THE NOTICE BOARD
The Town Notice Board hands out fresh foraging runs, deliveries, missing-item searches, business supply requests, NPC errands, exploration jobs, repairs, mail runs, train cargo, visitor meet-ups, hidden treasure hunts, and event prep for your village builder.

ORDER FROM THE CATALOG
Spend resources on period mail-order goods like a Split-Cane Fishing Rod, an Heirloom Seed Chest, or a Cast-Iron Street Lamp. Orders arrive by train, not instantly, so watch the schedule and meet it at the platform.

Pick your protagonist from a cinematic 3D character carousel, then watch Forgewood shift through morning, evening, and night, rain, snow, and seasonal color as residents react in their own dialogue.
