## What is Forgot My Character?

You sit down at your pen & paper roleplaying session and forgot your character sheet? With this app Forgot My Character you will have all of your characters sheets always ready to play with you all the time.

- Supports iPhone, iPad, Mac and syncs your characters to all devices through iCloud.
- Supported RPG systems: DSA5 (Das Schwarze Auge or in english Dark Eye 5), Open D6 (like Star Wars by West End Games), Vampire The Masquerade or other Whitewolf systems, Fate, Myths & Mysteries.
- Supports even more RPG systems because this app is based upon generic blocks that can be flexibly adjusted for your needs. The vision is to support all RPG systems of the world so that you can have all your different characters always in one app.
- A logbook for your character so you can write down, what you have experienced with your character.
- You can arrange the contents of your character sheet as you wish and add even more infos and images to beautify and add fluff texts to it.
- Languages: english, german. Each character sheet can be in another language.
- Change the background of your character sheet as you wish. If all of your teammates also use this app, each might be having differently looking character sheets in the app.
- Add PDFs like rule books or cheat sheets to your character so that you can always look up important stuff.
- Add a name register for all the important names that your character has met (or still desires to meet) in his/her adventure life.
- Add images to your beloved items so you can browse through them like your music library.
- Let the app do the math for you like calculating the weight of your equipment.

This app is well thought through and highly flexible so it can fit all your needs. It also contains some features that you didn't know. I mean how often have you been annoyed of erasing the money that you have just to pay a beer in an inn? The paper gets damaged and dirty. But with this app it's just a finger tap. You will never again lose a character because you can't remember in which box on the attic it might be in. Your character sheets are from now on stored in the iCloud forever. You can even read the log book of your character to recall its journey even after decades. Overall this app is not just a replacement of your paperwork, it is a fundamentally new database, which is beautiful and useful.

### 1.5 — 2026-07-05

- The logbook and name directory have both a better overview. They are now much better usable.
- Performance boost! You might think that performance never was an issue with this app. But for bigger data it was. And now we worked on a much better performance so that even older phones react much quicker.
- The generic skills and attributes block has got some formulas. You can now insert attribute values, add them with the skill value and display the result so that the app does the computation - not you. You can read through the possibilities when you edit a generic skill.
- Various bugfixes.

### 1.4 — 2026-05-14

- New level-up mode for DE5 / DSA5. You can now prepare how you want to spend your EP / AP and then level up with one click.
- A new block for aspects for generic character sheets. You can add any lists of aspects, advantages, disadvantages etc.

-New generic armor and clothing block. You can set multiple armor or clothing options and select the one your character has put on by swiping left and right. Check it out if you are not playing DE5/DSA5!
- Dark Eye 5 / DSA 5: New special combat abilities: Improved Circumvent, Keep at Distance I / II, Knock Down, Masterful Dodge, Master of Improvised Weapons, Master Parry, Mounted Flying Combat, Nail Down, Overwind Crossbows, Pikewall, Protector, Quickload Slings, Rain of Iron I / II, Sharpshooter I / II, Spread Rain of Iron, Stunning Blow, Targeted Attack / Shot and Two-Handed Mounted Combat.
- Dark Eye 5 / DSA 5: Better spellcasting in the spells and liturgical chants block.
