Forkcast looked so promising when I was searching for a recipe manager to replace the outdated Paprika app, but a few issues make it unusable (for me). First, there is no way to change the font size in the UI, it's hardwired to "TINY", and if you're farsighted or have vision issues, you'll be disappointed because the font size will be WAY smaller than whatever display setting you have your Mac set to. Next, if you print recipes, you're going to waste a lot of paper, as Forkcast has no print configuration settings prior to being sent to your printer. It wastes a ton of white space when printing a recipe (requiring 2-3 pages to print a recipe), has a HUGE image of the recipe that you can't turn off (wasting more space). Last, and perhaps most important, you can't import recipes from the Paprika recipe manager app. Paprika is the most popular recipe manager app on the planet (despite it being very outdated) and every other recipe manager I've tried allows for importing Paprika formatted recipes. I really like the UI/UX of Forkcast, but these issues preclude me from paying its high subscription cost (more than any other recipe manager I've tried).
