## What is Forma?

Forma is an AI facial analysis and improvement app built to help you understand your facial structure, track progress and follow a practical routine.

Upload your front and side profile photos to receive a facial score, feature breakdown and personalised improvement plan across areas such as skin, jaw, symmetry, eyes and overall structure.

Forma is not just a one-time score. It turns your analysis into a system:
• AI facial score and feature breakdown
• Personalised improvement recommendations
• Front and side profile analysis
• Potential score and progress tracking
• Daily routines for skin, sleep, hydration and habits
• 30, 60 and 90 day progress predictions
• Weekly reports and scan history
• Rank progression from Ash upwards
• Atlas Advisor for personalised guidance
• Pro features for deeper reports and tracking

Forma is designed around progress, confidence and consistency. Your score is a starting point. The real value is knowing what to improve, what to do next and how your results change over time.

Important: Forma provides informational and self-improvement guidance only. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, mental health advice or cosmetic procedure recommendations. Results are AI generated and should be used as a general guide rather than a definitive judgement of appearance.

Subscription terms: Forma Pro unlocks advanced analysis, predictions, reports and premium tools. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel in your App Store account settings.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 3.4.30 — 2026-08-26

Hands-free capture. The side-on photo was always awkward because you cannot see the screen while you are taking it. The camera now counts you in and takes it for you, five seconds for the profile and three for the front.

You can add food by name. The nutrition log, the meal planner and the product scanner all needed a barcode before, so a home-cooked meal could not be recorded at all and a can out of a multipack had nothing to scan. All three now have a searchable library of food and drink.

Water is tracked in litres as well as glasses, and the whole app now agrees on one daily target instead of quoting three different ones.

iPhone photos work. HEIC is the default iPhone camera format and the app used to refuse it, then suggest you try HEIC instead. It converts them properly now.

A pass over smaller screens. On shorter phones the onboarding slides drew over the skip and back buttons, floating scroll hints covered the content underneath and both photo tiles could come up empty. Those are fixed.

Your results are more honest. The report could contradict itself three ways on one screen, your ranking implied it was measured against real people when it is estimated and deleting your account claimed more than it had actually done. Each of those now says what is true.

Plus a long list of smaller repairs, including a small PNG being refused for being too large, signing out leaving you signed in, the rating prompt asking people who had just had a bad experience and a wrong date on your phone wiping a season or a weekly challenge.

### 3.4.29 — 2026-08-24

Fixes, mostly to scanning.

- Analysis could fail on your second and later scans. The request carried your previous scan's photos for comparison and went over the size limit. Photos are now resized before they are sent, so scans are faster too.
- Large photos and PNG exports were refused as too big. They are now resized instead of turned away.
- The gold guide lines on your results sat above your face instead of on it, and the side view guides never appeared at all.
- The camera now detects your face at arm's length, stops repeating instructions once you are in frame, turns you the right way for a side profile, and shows you the photo it took.
- Signing out then continuing without an account could show you the account you had just left.
- Haircut suggestions now use your face shape. They previously ignored it.

### 3.4.28 — 2026-08-15

Sharing your score now includes a phrase you can search for, so a friend who sees your card can find Forma even when the link does not survive the app it was posted in.

Behind the scenes, Forma now understands how it is actually used, so scans, streaks and plans can be improved on evidence rather than guesswork. No photos and no personal details are involved.

### 3.4.27 — 2026-08-14

A photo that cannot be loaded no longer leaves a gap. Your share card, gallery, comparisons and report fall back to your badge or a placeholder.

Your Trials rank can no longer be knocked down by your phone's clock changing. Travelling or correcting the time could cost you several ranks.

A report that could not be saved is no longer shown as if it was.

The report now says when your photos were harder than usual to read.

### 3.4.26 — 2026-08-12

Fixed a scoring bug: scanning the same photo twice could give two different scores, because the second scan compared itself to the first and treated the lack of change as a fault. Your score now depends only on your face.

The second slot needs a genuine side profile, and the app now says so if both photos are the same. Jaw angle and chin projection cannot be read from a front photo.

Clearer wording about your photos. They are analysed and kept on your device rather than on our servers, and deleting your account now erases them from the device too.

Your improvement plan is labelled as such, so it is no longer confused with your membership.
