## What is Forma di Luce?

Forma di Luce is a posing reference for portrait photographers — with no photographs in it.

Every pose is an original line-art illustration, drawn to show what actually matters: weight, line, gesture, gaze. No model to copy, no outfit to distract, no location to envy. You see the structure of the pose; your subject brings everything else.

THE LIBRARY
• 46 curated poses across Standing, Sitting, Portrait, Floor, Walking and Leaning
• Directorial coaching for every pose — weight, shoulders, head, eyes, hands — written the way you would actually say it on a shoot
• Similar poses with every pose, so one idea leads to the next
• Search by title, position, style, mood, or shot size

THE CLASSICAL SECTION
Fifteen poses from the history of art — Praxiteles to Manet — each drawn in the same line language and each with coaching for recreating it with a modern subject. Contrapposto, The Thinker, Olympia, the Pietà: twenty-five centuries of figures that still work.

LEARN
Short essays on the craft: weight and the S-curve, what to do with hands, directing the gaze, and a brief history of the pose itself.

MADE FOR THE SHOOT
• Works completely offline — the entire library ships in the app
• Light and dark mode; the illustrations adapt to both
• Favorites, stored only on your device
• No accounts, no tracking, no subscription — buy once

Forma di Luce is made by the team behind Diario di Luce, under the Volto di Luce photography brand.
