## What is FormantScope?

FormantScope analyzes your voice in real time on device: it shows fundamental frequency (F0), the first and second formants (F1 and F2), and input level, with short history charts for practice and coaching.

• Live numeric readouts for F0, F1, F2, and level
• Dual-series charts with independent scales
• Stability and gating to reduce flicker during continuous phonation
• Optional WAV export to a folder you choose
• iPhone, iPad, and Mac; microphone is used only for local analysis
• No account required; open-source project (see support link)

FormantScope does not send your microphone audio to the developer for processing. Optional recordings are saved only where you select on your device.

  • Various polish and stability improvements.
