Unfortunately I can’t access the store from the app, only my webpages. ### 2/5 — Hard to Recommend *2022-12-16, version 2.9.1* It’s hard to recommend this as well as the main format subscription service. Forget about fast upload speeds. They take at least eight times as long as my last website server, which was zenfolio. The Lightroom plug-in is also very slow. This is extremely unacceptable for any type of professional, whose clients rely on them for fast turnaround. also forget if you’re any type of event or wedding photographer is trying to upload more than 200 photos at a time result in errors or having to skim through all your photos to see what actually uploaded and what didn’t. I chose format initially because of the presentation and clean looks of the site. But the uploading to the actual site is broken. I have the standard Internet service and 20+ years as a photographer. I have reached out to the customer service at least three times with no good solution to their team, which makes me think they can’t solve the number one thing that professional photographers need the most: a quality site to upload large quantities of photos in a timely manner for fast turnaround to your clients. Having to wait overnight to send a project over is unacceptable. ### 2/5 — This app has potential *2022-11-02, version 2.9.1* This app has everything laid out nicely except it doesn’t have any tutorial on how to use it! I am in search of the best, simplest, website builder - Who is not Shopify, a powerful business who loves to shut down my completely innocent websites (plural) without first understanding the business they are shutting down. Sadly, I painfully know this First-hand from a handful of these experiences. Most upsetting and confusing to customers think think they know, or really already do though, exactly where to go to shop my stores. But then they don’t find them suddenly when they try to go there. Fairy happily upgrade my review stars if with this app I end up being able to develop my stores and integrate them with my Shopify account and the other platforms on which I sell. And making no mistake about it… In this digital age where personalization in the human contact element are almost gone if I find that I can call this business and reach a human who is willing to speak with me and walk me through anything I need with their website development I will be a devoted customer. So I am seeking a “third-party development platform for e-commerce Business with these requirements. No shutting down my website without a personal conversation with me to discuss concerns you may have and replies I can offer, a company with whom I can speak one-on-one with another human being, not a chat bot or a discussion forum with people who may very well know less than I, or without being sent links to articles to read, or mountains of instructions to learn from when the best way I learn is by doing and by guided instruction. So giving me 15 minutes at any given time or perhaps 20 as just a basic service of those with whom I have chosen to do business - that is, for our growing number of website businesses that currently stands at 7, while we have a serious goal of launching and operating 11. Upon launch, I’m only presented with a sliver of the UI with nothing to click or interact with. I would even be fine with that if the iPhone version was any good or the android version even existed. However, there is so much functionality missing in the app like no way to view and manage Client Galleries, that it’s not a helpful substitute anyway. The last update was 2 weeks ago but beyond that it hasn't been updated in two years. Look at the revision history. This blog is part of the half dozen websites that I’m in the process of building. I’m constructing six websites at once with each from a different website building provider, service or App like Format. Out of all of them the Format website and Wordpress websites that I’m building are by far the best. Easy to build, professional looking and tons of help and support. You can’t ask for much better in my opinion- thank you Team Format! ### 5/5 — Exactly what I was looking for *2021-11-04, version 2.9.1* I tried Wix, and Squarespace, only Format gave me what I was looking for, something simple and easy to work with. Slightly more expensive but where I struggled with the other two Format I just got straight down to creating a site.
