## What is Formularium / Vade?

AMCRA is het federale kenniscentrum voor alles wat te maken heeft met antibioticagebruik en -resistentie bij dieren in België. AMCRA heeft tot missie alle gegevens in verband met het gebruik van en resistentie tegen antibacteriële middelen bij dieren in België te verzamelen en te analyseren. Op basis hiervan willen we op een neutrale en objectieve manier communiceren, sensibiliseren en adviseren met als doel het vrijwaren van volksgezondheid, dierengezondheid en dierenwelzijn alsook het bereiken van een duurzaam antibioticabeleid in België. AMCRA is operationeel sinds 2012 en formuleert adviezen met als doelstelling te komen tot een rationeel gebruik van antibacteriële middelen in de diergeneeskunde in België.
