A reader hands you articles. fornews.ai makes something else of them. The app doesn't just read headlines: it reads WHO and WHAT. People, organisations and places are pulled from every article and identified against Wikidata. A name that keeps coming back then becomes a FILE: a subject you name, which fills itself, and which also takes your links, your documents and your notes. That file produces a written, illustrated REPORT, readable in another app. And you can QUESTION your own corpus — on the device, or from an external assistant. Everything is processed ON YOUR DEVICE with Apple Intelligence — no article and no personal data ever leaves it. No account, no subscription, no quota. • YOUR STORIES: name a subject; a rule of entities and keywords lets new articles in. Entity corrections made on one machine travel there too. • Clean summaries: site furniture — subscription pitches, cookie notices, related-link lists — no longer ends up in summaries. Live blogs and live tickers are extracted for what they contain, instead of being mistaken for their headline. • Honest dates: the real publication date is recovered when the source provides it, and uncertain cases are flagged rather than presented as certain. • Videos in an article are recognised and open in the platform's own app. • Images at full size: a full-screen viewer, an image details page, and better cropping in widgets and the editorial. • Correcting an entity: rename it, change its type, or link it to the right reference page — and the correction sticks. • Search inside Settings and inside source management, instead of scrolling. • A story can become a structured document, ready to read and export. • Fixed: a purchase you already made is recognised again. ### 1.6 — 2026-08-19 Version 1.6 — your news becomes a file. • YOUR STORIES. A monthly calendar shows the subject's rhythm — the days it is discussed, and the days it goes quiet. • FOLLOW, SPLIT, FIND AGAIN. Follow a story and you are told when an article joins it. A subject that started covering two things splits into two files. And in the list, articles from one file fold under a single card — “this subject moved, here is by how much” — so the rest of the day stays visible. • A REPORT TO TAKE AWAY. In one move, the story becomes a written, illustrated document, grouped by theme, saved to your iCloud folder and readable in another app. • THE MUSIC OF A SUBJECT. Artists, albums and soundtracks mentioned in a file, matched in Apple Music and playable from the story itself. • CORRECT AN ENTITY. A misidentified person, two records for one name, a wrong type: you fix it, and the fix applies to articles already read as well as to the next ones. Always undoable. • PERSONAL NOTES.
