## What is Fort et Château?

Discover the world's fortresses and unlock their secrets.

FORT AND CASTLE gathers 131 forts, castles and palaces across 32 countries and 6 continents: from Chambord to the Forbidden City, from the Alhambra to Himeji Castle, from Krak des Chevaliers to the fortress of Sigiriya. Each entry offers a photo, a historical description, a "Castle Secret" you reveal by scratching the screen, and a map to get directions.

EXPLORE YOUR WAY
• The 3D Globe: spin it, touch a continent, discover its countries.
• Search by name, city or country, and browse by country.
• "Near me": the closest sites to your location.
• Fully bilingual French / English interface.

THE EXPLORER'S PASSPORT
• On site, validate your visit: your wax seal is stamped (position checked within 300 m).
• Share your "Confirmed Explorer" card.
• Keep a Conquest List of the sites you want to visit.
• Unlock 10 badges: First Seal, Cosmopolitan, World Tour…
• Keep your Sketchbook: private notes, photos from your visit, beauty and accessibility ratings.

THE CASTLE DUEL
Two castles, one choice: swipe or tap to pick your favorite. Your personal ranking builds up duel after duel, and you can share your Top 3.

THE BARD
On flagship sites, touch the Bard's medallion and listen to the tale of the place, in French or English.

YOUR DATA STAYS WITH YOU
No account, no ads, no tracking. Your location is only used on your device, for distances and to validate your visits. Your badges, duels and sketchbooks are stored locally.
