## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 2.1.1 — 2026-07-22

This release focuses on mobile app stability and usability improvements. We've addressed responsive design issues on smaller screens, improved notification handling and cross-device sync, enhanced chat and messaging reliability, and resolved numerous UI/UX bugs across the platform.

• Resolved Issues
   • Fixed text overflow in escalation remediation actions that was pushing content outside its container.
   • Corrected rendering issue where text in VTM communication threads was displaying upside down or backward.
   • Fixed a layout issue where the note text at the bottom of Risk Register assignment notifications was being pushed off-screen and became unreadable.
   • Updated Leader Workbench to display "Fortified Service Assignments" instead of "My Fortified Service Assignments" to match web platform terminology.
   • Resolved scrolling and layout issues on smaller screens that prevented users from viewing all content, including the module switcher and dashboard charts.
   • Corrected typing indicator alignment and appearance in dark mode.
   • Resolved auto-scroll behavior when the keyboard is active so messages and typing indicators remain visible.
   • Enhanced OS notification content to display more descriptive text beyond the single-line banner.
   • Resolved unread count synchronization across multiple devices.
   • Resolved notification badge font size shrinking when switching between tenants.
   • Resolved misalignment of light theme toggle in the appearance menu during dark mode.
   • Resolved the blank white screen rendering when the dark theme is enabled, and related items are opened.
   • Reduced blank screen duration on app startup.
   • Resolved screen flicker issues when using the back button to navigate from detail screens (escalations, tasks, etc.).
• Platform
   • Bug fixes, performance improvements, infrastructure updates, and code to support future features and functionality.

### 2.1 — 2026-06-07

This release includes updates to our Penetration Testing module, along with a comprehensive set of improvements focused on notification loading performance, chat usability, layout compatibility, and many other polish items to ensure a consistent experience across iOS devices.

Penetration Testing
• The penetration test score chart has been updated to the same gauge design as the web platform, and a new average rating chart has been added on the Penetration Testing module dashboard.
• The Penetration Testing module dashboard now includes a filter to select which Penetration Testing project you want the dashboard to reflect.
• The project timeline is now available in the mobile app, providing access to the status of your active Penetration Testing projects at a glance.
• The “Stop All Tests” button has been redesigned for easier use.

Resolved Issues
• Resolved multiple issues with how the app handles tapped notifications. The app no longer hangs on the dashboard before navigating to the related item, and notifications now consistently navigate to the correct item rather than a previously viewed one.
• Resolved an issue where the app would unexpectedly redirect to a previously viewed detail screen — or display a 404 error — when opening or logging back into the app.
• Resolved an issue where the unread notification count on the bell icon would fall out of sync with the actual number of unread notifications without requiring a full app restart.
• Resolved multiple instances where the on-screen keyboard would obscure input fields or action buttons, and where UI elements were rendering behind bottom navigation. Affected areas include the SOS form, support request form, chat screens, and vulnerability communication thread.
• Resolved several issues in the chat experience, including content scrolling off-screen when the keyboard is active, the export button on chat history not functioning, and back navigation buttons not working on chat history screens.
• Redesigned the Communication Thread tab on vulnerability detail screens to align with the visual style used elsewhere in the app, including corrected tab styling, improved layout, and a functional message input field.
• Resolved an issue where tapping the back button from the SOS screen had no effect and did not return the user to the previous screen.
• Resolved an issue on the VTM vulnerability detail page where the back arrow was displayed in a dark color even in dark mode, making it difficult to see.
• Resolved an issue where submitting a support request from the SOS menu displayed an incorrect success message referencing an Incident Response request instead of a support case.
• Resolved an issue where the escalation link provided inside the chat window directed Fortified Threat Analysts to the client-side view instead of the correct Fortified backend view.

Platform
• Bug fixes, performance improvements, infrastructure updates, and code to support future features and functionality.
