Not impressed ### 1/5 — Cant paste password in *2018-07-18, version 1.0.3* I have long random passwords generated for all my accounts. This app won’t let me paste my password in and I’m not willing to type the whole thing in as it would take forever. ### 1/5 — Can’t open the app after install *2018-06-20, version 1.0.3* When I tried to open the app, it keep saying my phone is a jail broken device and ask me to run it on another device. BUT my phone is not jail broken, it is on the latest IOS. What a waste of time!!! Deleted! ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Registration fails *2025-12-30, version 1.4.2* I’ve attempted to register for this app multiple times and consistently end up with an “unknown error” at the final step. No copy-and-paste is allowed anywhere, turning a basic registration into something that feels more like accessing a high-security vault than signing up for an app. If this is intended to be a customer-facing product, the registration experience is frankly unacceptable. Please focus on what you do well and leave app development to people who actually know how to build usable software. ### 1/5 — Why bother *2025-08-27, version 1.4.1* Garbage app, you register you jump through the hoops of registration just to have your account locked out repeatedly, saving passwords why bother they don’t work, you try to reset and get your account locked out. ANYONE THERE? FIX THE APP. thx ### 1/5 — App is not user friendly *2023-07-19, version 1.3.7* We just experienced a power outage but as per the app, it claims it was planned. Upon getting full power back, I connected to my wifi and started to navigate the app. On a page where i have the option to use the app or Twitter, to review safety and planned outages. When I click to login to my Twitter account, I needed to navigate to my 2FA app to get my code. After getting the code, I return to the Fortis BC app to paste the code into the Twitter’s 2 FA screen. Unfortunately, the Twitter screens disappears and it goes back to the default screen on the Fortis BC. I tired it again but ended up with the same result. The second thing is the app is super slow, regardless if I am connected on Wi-Fi or not ### 1/5 — Garbage app *2022-03-10, version 1.3.4* Randomly logs me out. I then have to find my login info because it will not pull it from the saved info on my phone. Can’t login anymore because it gives me login errors constantly. Be sure that your password only has letters and numbers. I could log into the desktop site but not the app because my original password contained symbols ### 3/5 — Figured out why I could not login, just in the app *2018-06-04, version 1.0.3* I could on my computer but the same password didn’t work in the app A character I was using for the password was not allowed in the app. I tried to change it and now I can log in . Just use letters and numbers, case sensitive, nothing else. To the developer : you should have checked what is allowed on computer and app...plus could be very useful to have AirDrop available to share the Bill. It also had some additional (but limited) info about rebates, energy saving tips, etc. Unfortunately it is missing a lot of potentially great features. You can’t submit a meter reading, pay you bill, update your contact info, change account options (paperless billing, alerts, equal payment plan, etc.)...
