## What is FORTUS?

FORTUS brings prayer and faith, fitness and health all into one app.

The home screen is the day's order. Pray first. Then train, form and lead, with the day's food kept in Fuel. One screen, in order, every day, so you never open the app wondering what you are supposed to do.

PRAY
The day's Gospel, read the way the Church has always read it. Five stages, unhurried. You finish by keeping one word or line to carry into the day.

TRAIN
The day's workout, logged set by set, with your history kept.

FORM
Short lessons that build week over week. You write your answers. Nothing unlocks early, because formation is not a playlist.

LEAD
The habits and objectives you committed to, and the month's challenge. Marked done or not done. No partial credit.

FUEL
Log what you eat by search, by barcode or from a photo of your plate, and see the day against your targets. Bring in a recipe from a link.

COMMUNITY
Rooms with men keeping the same rule, a Community program and its monthly call. The FORTUS staff moderate every room.

SEASONS
Advent, Lent and every season to come are included. You start one when you choose.

FIDELITY
Not a score and not a leaderboard. A count of the days you kept your word.

APPLE HEALTH
Your choice, and off until you turn it on. FORTUS reads your weight, your steps and the workouts other apps recorded, and writes back the workouts you finish in FORTUS and the weights you type into it.

SUBSCRIPTION
New subscribers get a 7-day free trial. After it, FORTUS is $12.99 a month or $129.99 a year (U.S. prices; the App Store shows the price where you live). Payment is charged to your Apple Account when the free trial ends, or when you confirm the purchase if you are not eligible for a trial. The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before that period ends. Manage or cancel it at any time in your App Store account settings.

## Version history (last 3 releases)

### 2.1.3 — 2026-10-30

Updates to the onboarding and scholarship experience.

Train
- Start a whole training block from the Train tab. Pick a block you have unlocked and the Monday it begins, and it lands on your calendar.
- The rest timer now matches the watch: big seconds, the next movement and set, and a full-width skip button.
- Apple Watch keeps up with your phone. Swap an exercise or swipe to another block and the watch follows, and a set checked from the wrist lands in the open workout.
- Fixed the effort row overlapping on narrow Android phones.
Chat and Messages
- Reply to your coach. Once either of you writes, the conversation sits at the top of Chat with its badge.
- Tap any picture in Chat or Messages to open it full screen. Pinch to zoom, pull down to close.
- Pick a chat name in Settings if you want the rooms to call you something other than your registered name.
- Press and hold a reaction to see who reacted.
- When a coach tags @everyone in a room, you hear about it. Your Mentions switch still decides.
Check-ins
- A check-in you started keeps your answers until you submit, even if you leave the app.
- No more overdue check-ins from weeks before you joined a program.
Fuel
- Macro charts read brighter in the light theme.
Sign-up
- A sign-up code entered before Sign in with Apple or Google now sticks, and you are in that code's giveaway the moment your account exists.
