It was showing me hateful political. Writings as if I wanna see all this hate that is out there. It also had some other things that I was not interested in that was that I was interested in. So do take the time to view your algorithms and make sure you’re getting what you want not what the algorithm wants. ### 2/5 — App ignores Facebook sound and media settings *2026-08-19* The UI is extremely similar to what already exists in the main Facebook app, but some of the options don’t work. This app ignores the settings if you have your Facebook iOS app set to not make any sounds or play autoplay videos. It does have a setting in itself to disable autoplay videos, but there appears to be no way to mute the interaction sounds, even if your main Facebook account is set to never make noise. ### 2/5 — No AI generated titles *2026-08-03* We should not need 3 apps to interact with Facebook - the core app, messenger, now Forum. It’s ridiculous. Facebook keeps adding AI features that users never asked for and, worse, don’t have the ability to turn off. My latest frustration is AI-generated titles being automatically added to posts in Groups. I don’t have the setting to disable it, and I can’t edit or remove the title before posting. It changes what I wrote and misrepresents my intent. Please stop making AI features mandatory. If you want to offer AI tools, make them optional and give users clear controls to enable or disable them. ### 3/5 — I like it but… *2026-07-29* I like this app a lot! I own many Facebook groups, one which has 975,000 members. This app makes it so easy to create posts based on exactly what my members want and are already talking about. I love how it gives trending topics, engagement insights, top posts etc. A feature that would be very helpful would be the ability to use the color background for a post when it creates a draft. One is for moms who are seeking more holistic day-to-day care and remedies as well as just being a community for local like-minded moms to go and ask any questions and know that they will not be made fun of or judged. Like I used to tell all my childbirth classes and newborn care classes and my over 100 doula clients: all parents are winging it and it’s okay to ask for help. My other group is a plant group but I created it to be a community. Absolutely no ugliness allowed (unless someone needs help with an ugly Plant haha) and it’s all about community. This app is allowing me to keep up much more closely with the groups I run as well as the groups I’m a member of! I was hoping for better search functions. The ability to make custom feeds allowing me to separate my groups by my various interests. Literally anything that would add features useful to someone that belongs to a lot of groups. Instead, it’s literally the exact same system with less features than regular Facebook. ### 1/5 — Not needed *2026-08-01, version 1.11* Interesting we had to take groups from Facebook and put them in their own app. WE DO NOT NEED MORE APPS!! WE NEED BETTER DESIGNED APPS THAT FUNCTION PROPERLY. This one isn’t bad it still has some bugs. They’re making things difficult for no reason. Hard pass. Ditch this app and every piece of Meta junk, first they came after TimeHop, then Instagram and TikTok, they want to become the hub for open source information now. It constantly puts far-right groups in my feed and there is no way to get rid of them. Everything feels less cluttered and easier to get to without having to scroll through a bunch of unrelated stuff. I’ve really been enjoying it so far! ### 5/5 — Like FBs original purpose *2026-08-28* FB lately has been AI slop and force fed posts based on an algorithm. The only reason I am on FB is for the marketplace and the 20 grouos I have to be in. This app makes it so I can see the posts I need to see quickly for school or work or sports without all the undesired posts.
