## What is Forum Costa?

Forum Costa is the Costa del Sol in one app: the forum, the guides, the map and the daily tools, built for people moving here, buying here or already living here.

FORUMS
A forum for every town from Sotogrande to Nerja, with rooms for the things people ask about: builders, doctors, schools, paperwork, cars, pets, where to eat. Ask anything, recommend anyone, vote the best answers up. Follow your town and get one note a week at most, on Sunday, when something new lands there.

GUIDES
More than 80 guides written by people who live and work here: buying and selling, renting, mortgages, taxes, healthcare, schools, driving, residency, and what living in each town is really like.

THE MAP
Restaurants, beach clubs, shops, professionals and golf courses, every one checked by a person before it goes on the map. Reviews by people who were there. Save the places you like and add the ones you know.

TOOLS
Weather for fifteen towns with the sea temperature. A currency converter on European Central Bank rates. A Spanish mortgage calculator with the taxes and fees included. The street markets day by day, on a map. The supermarkets from Torremolinos to Sotogrande with their Sunday hours. The coast's golf courses with green fees and access. And Find Your Town, a one-minute picture quiz that tells you which towns fit you.

YOUR ACCOUNT
Log in with your name, your email and a code we send you. No password, ever. Get a notification when someone answers you, keep your bookmarks, and make a free business card with a QR code for your trade.

LANGUAGES
Forum Costa speaks nine languages: English, Spanish, Swedish, German, Dutch, French, Polish, Russian and Chinese. Pick yours from the flag at the top.

Forum Costa is published by ForumHub S.L. in Marbella. Content is general information, not professional, legal or financial advice.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 2.0.5 — 2026-10-30

More stuff, fewer bugs. Recommend the people and places you trust, and copy their discount in one tap.

### 2.0.4 — 2026-10-21

More thumbs up, fewer bugs. Recommend the people and places you trust, and see who else does.

### 2.0.3 — 2026-10-13

Nine languages, faster pictures, and some bugs quietly shown the door. Keep updating, we keep improving.

### 2.0.2 — 2026-10-10

New in this version:
• Golf: search a course or a town. Each course shows its length in metres and yards, the green fee and membership cards, and a red note when a course is closed or changing.
• Supermarkets and Street markets: a search box in each tool. Type a town, a chain, a shelf or a market day.
• Mortgage calculator: a new question, "How much can I buy for?". Enter your cash and see the top price, the loan and the monthly payment. Three short paragraphs explain how the loan works.
• About Forum Costa is in Useful Tools: who makes it, why, and how it started.
• Member pages read in your language, with the new Forum Queen chip.
• The Map tab opens places in a bottom sheet, as on the website.
• Larger Text and Reduce Motion from your iPhone settings now work throughout the app.
• A Halloween look for October.
• Spanish and Swedish: lines with a name or a number read right again, and many small fixes.

### 2.0.1 — 2026-10-06

Forum Costa now speaks Spanish and Swedish. Pick the language under Settings > Forum Costa > Language.

New in this version:
• The bell: replies, comments and levels land in the app, with a sound you can switch off.
• Search finds people and forum posts, not only guides and places.
• Emergency numbers: the six numbers that dial with one tap, town by town, plus the all-night pharmacy.
• Metres to feet: property sizes explained, with the common home sizes.
• Business cards: every card of the coast in one place, and the badges people earn.
• Member pages show posts, replies, articles and comments.
• Forum rooms: see who follows a room, and what your post reached.
• Reviews are open to read for everyone; you log in when you post.
• Many small fixes and the site's own wording throughout.
