The game is overall great and in lots of ways like graphics and options. However, I feel like the points system is what is letting this game down. I do like the candy crush style game when collecting points, but waiting to receive new lives can take up to twenty six minutes for me and I feel that is too long. That’s the sort of time it takes to read a picture book. Seven times over. So if it could be reduced in the future down to a maximum time of say, five minutes, that would be nice. However, such change has not been implemented so for now, three stars. ### 3/5 — New game please *2024-12-01* Can you please make a new game of just customizing cars please. I just got a new phone and am not starting over after completing 500+ levels. ### 3/5 — Good customisation but Candy Crush ruins the game *2024-09-14* Hi, I enjoyed this game for a while but I find that the candy crush part of it gets in the way a bit much and then it becomes impossible to customise your car because you can’t get past a certain candy crush level. I think that this game would be so k look ice better if you got your money off of going to car meets and people liking your car meaning you can build even more cars as time goes on! Still a good game tho. ### 3/5 — Enjoyable game with broken levels *2024-08-08* I have finished multiple cars now, but as the new cars have come the game has become increasingly difficult and far less enjoyable. Difficulty is fine but many levels have become pay wall stop type issues and im about ready to quit. At about level 750 this game has levels that are near unplayable. Level 850 and 870 being premiere examples. The design of this game shouldnt make player suffer being unable to progress for days. Almost every level passed 700 has become something you have to watch an ad to finish, use an item, add 5 moves or just replay 10+ times to get through. These blue and orange flame levels are overly difficult and outrageous at times with expectation vs reality of being able to finish. ### 2/5 — Juicing you for your money!!!!! *2024-08-01* I feel like they just put as many adds as possible. My main complaint is that the levels are extremely hard to beat. A good challenge is always nice, but I constantly find myself grinding for an hour just on one level to complete one task out of 20. Then, they advertise items you can buy with real money to help you with a level. I really like the looks of the game, it just feels like they are juicing you for money. Not for our enjoyment. Although Forza Horizon 3, 4, and 5 are good games, believe me, I have all three of them, this mobile version is not worth your time. ### 3/5 — Great, but… *2024-07-17* Great graphics, but I really wish you gave the player enough moves to complete the level without having to buy power ups etc. some of the levels seem impossible unless you’re lucky or buy power ups. Such a shame, could have been a great game. Still sticking with it in the hopes you guys develop it further but you only really get about 10 mins of gameplay before running out of lives on the higher levels. ### 3/5 — Solid game but definitely could have so much potential! *2024-07-15* The game when first playing felt really good. Cool customisation options for cars and fairly simple candy crush style gameplay. But a couple of ideas could turn this game from solid to amazing. 1, a big thing that has been turning me off the game is the limited lives and having to wait for them. As a game company you should want people to be able to play it as much as they want, not turn them away from it. 2. Instead of getting a random style of a car, it would be great to be able to pick out of them. For example being able to choose to make a drift car instead of being forced to do a off road for example. This would give the player more freedom and control. 3. I think it would be amazing if u could get a catalogue of cars as big as the mainstream forza games. A lot of people like to customise their favourite cars or their own cars and having that freedom to maybe choose what car u can design, with a giant catalogue to choose from in the future would be insane for this game. This game has so much potential, but I would rather spend money on buying a specific car than spending it on lives for example. ### 3/5 — Mid *2024-06-29* The game is alright, but there is one problem, hard levels. Every few levels you get a hard level, they are impossible to beat and there should be a setting to turn them off ### 3/5 — It’s a good candy crush (not forza) *2024-06-21* I really thought coming into this game I’d be able to build cars to my own imagination, however I had no taught of coming across a rip off candy crush though it’s it’s a good candy crush. Level 110 is impossible help ### 2/5 — IT HAS POTENTIAL *2024-06-08* This game before I downloaded it seemed really fun and surprising! “A Forza game on mobile?!” That was my reaction. But when I downloaded the game, I realised it was just some odd candy crush ripoff. It sucked. I thought that maybe when you finished the tutorial, you would be able to drive the car. But nope. You can’t drive anything. You just look at the car. That is so boring! I want to actually drive it! Take care! - Hutch ### 4/5 — It’s actually a pretty great game *2024-06-08* And I don’t tend to write reviews. The puzzling is very sharp, lots going on which is nice. Very addicting. The graphics when working with the cars are top notch, definitely deserving of the Forza mark for sure. The complaints about “this level is impossible without spending money” etc, is all a bit unfair. The game gets hard. It has levels that are really really hard. I almost deleted the app. But they CAN be done! I stuck with it and am so happy I did. I’ve put probably about 12 or so hours into this thing and am halfway through my fourth car. Its just a good game. My one complaint, I do really wish there was more time spent with the cars (maybe manually disassembling components or something?) Or maybe a little viewing mode with a changeable backdrop or something. If ambition is not currently in a shortage, a simple walk mode with all completed cars present in the garage so you can marvel at your work so far. You get the idea though. Some of the same cars also being in other forza games but there is one key difference. In most of forzas other games you’re either limited to a body kit or MAYBE the one or two front and rear bumper kits or the infamous forza front aero and forza wing. But in this game there are more customization options than most games I've seen. Now why cant devs make car customization this good in their main games. Also the match 3 aspect of the game does not mix well with car customization in my personal opinion. Yes it probably satisfies someone out there but to me when i want to download a game to customize a car i don't want to have to go through puzzles to do so. Also the coloring system could've been better a color wheel would've sufficed instead of pre-picked colors we cant change. Nothing to change with the game just please forza devs shift your priorities. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Candy Crush clone *2025-01-23* The is a Candy Crush clone, 3d tuning is better ### 1/5 — It’s a match 3 game… *2024-12-29* Downloaded this because I love Forza, especially the Forza Horizons and I thought this would be basically a more detailed/mechanics focused version of the garage that’s in pretty much any Forza Horizon game, perhaps also with a test track feature or something like that akin to Mechanic Simulator on PC. Nope. It’s a stupid matching game, something that we’re not exactly short of on the AppStore. I’ll add that’s it’s not even that clear it’s a matching game before your download it since the first thing you see are patch notes and the description itself is kinda vague on the whole gameplay thing. As regards “screenshots” all but one image is of cool looking car customisation stuff. If you want a car themed matching game, cool, go ahead but if you downloaded this looking for an actual car game, find another one because this isn’t it. I know it’s free, BUT it’s Forza branded, so expected better. And time is important. Also MATCHING GAMES ARE NOT PUZZLES! Saying it over and over again doesn’t make it true. Not even Exausts options, such a cheesy game I played it for less than 20 mins and uninstalled. I’m a mechanic in real life and don’t have time for playing children’s candy crush for a hour just to customise the car for 3 mins. If you want to improve the game make it so there’s no candy crush and maybe I’ll play it. I posted a yt video about this game warning people not to play it, it’s that bad ### 1/5 — What a Frankenstein *2024-10-03* A mobile car tuning game could have been a great idea. If someone downloads a game with Forza's branding on it, they would normally expect the car tuning experience offered in the Horizon series. However, in this game, you try to achieve the specialisation of your vehicle by tweaking its appearance, which is clumsy. But worse than that, every time you swap out a part, you have to play a silly puzzle game, and even then, you have to follow a path, just like in a graphic novel. Heck, a game of dress-up is more fun than this. In the end, this doesn't even touch on the really fun stuff, like putting a diesel engine in a vintage Beemer, adjusting the rear and front wing angles, and changing gear ratios. There's a lot of this sort of thing going on these days, and I wish they'd pick one element and make it clear. These shoddy capitalist Frankensteins are cancer on the gaming market, offering very low-grade pleasures that never truly satisfy anyone and lowering the quality of the entire market. ### 1/5 — Hmmm *2024-08-10* So I played the game and it is not a freely customization car game cuz you cannot choose the car you wanna customize and why do you need candy crush?! That’s just weird. Also why can’t we drive the cars n drive freely?? The Forza Horizon n Motorsport n that one street mobile game you can drive the cars. Also please remove the candy crush thingamabobby. Just a clickbait. I’ll rate your game 5 stars if you can remove the dumb candy crush, let us drive the cars, and let us choose the cars we customize. Also when you get your first car (Mustang) you will “roll” what spec your car is and at least everyone gets “drift”. I saw this review by AutumnTutu that we should add freeroam and remove candy crush (everybody wants to remove candy crush) and you replied “We Will take your suggestion” but like all of us said we wanna remove candy crush and you did not take our suggestion. I have the game solved and still find myself playing it often as a pastime in the remix mode. I like how the puzzles stay the same type of strategy base but mix up the sequences. Out of the 18 cars in the game I didn’t like the Delorean or the Peel, I almost quit the game at the Peel car to be honest. Some of the levels seem impossible to solve and it takes a lot of tries to complete sometimes makes ya want to quit as well. But over all it’s a A+ game. PS the game is Not over loaded with ads. All these other reviews need to get good ### 5/5 — Well… *2024-02-08* Look don’t get me wrong it’s a fun game right, I loved Forza for a long time now and I love puzzle games, best of both worlds and they did it great where you can customize cars and what not. But what isn’t so hot is a few things. -after level 60 you’ll be stuck on a level for a few days up to a week. And it isn’t down to skill. A big issue is it rely on RNG to get a good color balance. Or your just screwed. And unless you by power ups your screwed. It really is unfair to the player to be in a situation where you have to make a non helpful match just to get the color to mix, to match, then to mix. It’s not a good sign to see it shuffle every other move because it’s just not set up well. When your in these levels you’ll go through all your lifes in 5 mins at most, then have to wait 3 and a half hours to get them all back. I’m not sure if this is fixable but it’s really making me want to stop playing. Maybe if the person is in this levels and takes them a few sets of lifes give them a random power up?
