It’s incredibly accurate it just takes a while to scan which I guess is why it’s incredibly accurate

**Developer response:** Thanks for the kind words! The extra time comes from cross-checking each find against peer-reviewed research and other references to get the ID right, so it’s a deliberate tradeoff for accuracy. 

We’re actually planning to add even more references going forward, so we’re also working on ways to speed up the scan without cutting corners.

A clear example of the limits of vibe-coded apps. Wasn’t able to identify a single fossil and it is full of errors.

The only fossil ID app I could find that demonstrated what it could do before I had to purchase something, and gave more accurate results than the four or five others I tried. Would love more information on the results, even if just links to where I can read more on what the results mention.
