I purchased a week’s worth of premium for $3.99 to try it out, and the best match it gave me for a shark tooth was “trilobite.” The other matches were shark teeth, but included incorrect species. Other identifications also lacked accuracy. I was hoping to use the app to catalog my finds more quickly for a permit renewal, but the results are just too inaccurate and limited. I am now writing a 1 star review. I am writing this because I’m so annoyed. You get to identify ONE fossil before you have to pay. I got to identify one fossil and now to Carry on I need to pay £4 a month for STANDARD? excuse me? don’t recommend ### 1/5 — Beware! No refunds!!!Very disappointed *2025-08-15* I found this app to be very disappointing. I have very obvious and easily obtainable fossils that I used to “test” the app on the day I purchased it. Results didn’t even begin to identify them correctly. I tried to delete the subscription, which is allowed but NO REFUND!!! That’s probably why it didn’t offer a free seven day trial like many other apps do. ### 1/5 — Stole my credit card info. *2025-04-23* The information this app provides is useful but the answer it gives you changes each time you upload the same picture. Also, because it makes you buy a subscription after two searches, I decided to purchase the 3.99/week subscription. Tell me why I get a notification that my card was charged $83? The address linked to my previous $3.99 (+tax) purchase was the same as the mysterious $83 charge. I had to cancel the card. Thanks, frauds! It said they were meteorites. Basic brachipods and this app couldn’t figure it out. You also can’t attach your own photos to your collection.
