## What is FossilRadar?

Point your camera at a fossil and know what it is in seconds — species,
geological period, rarity, and an estimated value range.

Then open the map and find out where to look next.

IDENTIFY WHAT YOU FOUND
Snap a photo or choose one from your gallery. FossilRadar returns the
scientific and common name, the era and period it came from, its
classification, a rarity tier, an estimated value range, and a confidence
score — so you know how certain the answer is. Works on fossils, rocks,
minerals, shark teeth, ammonites, trilobites, bone and amber.

FORECAST WHERE TO HUNT
Other apps stop at identification. FossilRadar shows you the ground. Every
site on the map is scored on four factors — geology, recent weather,
historical finds, and overall fossil potential — then ranked from Low to
Very High. Coastal erosion, exposed formations, quarries and known
collecting sites across the UK, US, Canada and Australia.

BUILD YOUR COLLECTION
Save every find with its photo, identification and location. Sort
discoveries into collections like "Jurassic Coast" or "Shark Teeth". Track
your totals: fossils found, unique species, collections built.

WORKS IN THE FIELD
Fossil sites rarely have signal. Your collection, your finds and your saved
hotspots stay on your device and load instantly offline.

DAILY HOTSPOT ALERTS
Get notified when conditions score high at a site near you — after a storm,
after a tide, when fresh ground is exposed.
