The (Positive) comments are fairly questionable. After "Using" this app, I wasn't able to find anything very useful. It looks like it's a "Version 1.0" that a teenager would develop for a side project - With a little bit of greed thrown in. 

If you really wish to get/ try this app, I suggest waiting. It comes up for free very regularly. This way, if you don't like it, you're not out any money. If you do like it, all the better.

When search with common terms, this app quickly returns around 100 relevant images and web page links. There are over thousand auto suggest medical terms, freely enter any search text works great.

Pick a good match image, it allows you to save it with web page link, view web page, or compare with your photos, camera pic, or other web images. 

The tap to change transparency is essential for comparing overlapped photos. Rotate and pinch gestures are supported. 

The reference is well organized based on government medical web sites but easier to navigate.

The feed/news reader seem to update daily. The medical dictionary probably is based on some government institution sites.

This is quite practical tool. If there are high definition image data base built in, this app could be even better.

I like the well organized medical handbook reference. 
Many medical images come out for each search term. No ads or garbage. All from high quality sources.

The photo comparison part is fun. It can be one app its own right.

In addition to medical reference, medical image based reference search, smart photo manipulation, FotoMed HD now includes news reader, blog reader and medical dictionary. Great medical app you must have!
The new iPhone version has everything but iPad version has way better view on images and comparison.

I can select from search results, medical images, zoom, rotate and compare.
Avoid garbage from general search engine. Well worth the price.

I have a feeling that these other reviews could be fake, because everything about this app is impractical. It basically just feeds in publicly available content from health-related websites like WebMD. (You can find the same info on Google — for free, and in much greater quantities.) The app also includes a barebones image "clipboard" area, but it has very limited functionality, and doesn't really serve a purpose.

Also, a lot of the screens within the app were blank or had error messages. And although the first three items on the main screen appear to be app features — they're actually just links to more of the developer's paid apps. (There's nothing wrong with in-app cross-selling, but it shouldn't be disguised as primary navigation, shouldn't be the first thing users see, and shouldn't take up that much screen space.)

Honestly, this feels more like a website from 2003 than an iOS app. Glad I got it when it was free.
