(1). It knows I have reservations, but if it shows me the actual details of those reservations (room types, beds, confirmations, etc.), I’m overlooking where. (2) There is a nice “itinerary” feature that lists things like check-in, car services, excursions. Great. But, it does not show resort restaurant reservations. I understand that, the restaurants are via a different system, so I’m not griping about that. But I think that the itinerary feature should at least let the guest manually add their own items — such as restraint reservations, beach time, etc. An incomplete itinerary is a pretty worthless thing. If the app allowed the guest to fill-in the other stuff manually, that would be a very useful improvement. ### 2/5 — Amateurs *2025-05-05, version 4.1.2* Apart from a subpar UX, the app repeatedly insists on Bluetooth permissions, even though the app is not running (even in the background), has no permissions at all, and is not indexed by Siri or Search. The request pops up at random intervals of days to weeks. Developer says “it’s Apple’s fault”, yet no other app does this. Sure, the iPhone version of this app runs on a iPad but it’s tiny. Also, and perhaps most notably, what happened to the Press Reader? The new App is glitchy and the videos playing in the navigation pages makes for a terrible experience. Such a downgraded App now. How hard does it need to be to change a phone number attached to your account (and, no, it should not require opening a ticket). No UI feedback when choosing a date in the calendar, no confirmation screen when completing a booking, “preferences” is nonsense list of options that don’t reflect what you’ll actually need during your stay. Whole thing feels like a template. My experience with the properties: 5 stars. My experience with this “app”: 1 star. To the “app and accounts team”: Get it together. Less playing around and more getting the job done. It’s really isn’t rocket science to get this right. Serving hospitality and booking is a solved problem. Keeps crashing. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — STOP BLUETOOTH REQUEST *2026-04-14* This God awful app most be the worst possible thing every developed after 2010; it’s a complete shame that a company like FS cannot hire a team that designs an app that would not ask for bluetooth connections *the whole time*. It’s absolutely unbearable and makes me delete and reinstall the app every time I stay at a FS hotel. You cannot keep this app on your phone or it will drive you crazy. You can deny all permissions, deactivate notifications, it won’t matter. There’s no escape. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work *2026-04-09* App not up to four seasons standards. Entered last name and reservation number and it says can’t find it. I call resort and they confirmed reservation and suggested trying a different confirmation number that also didn’t work. Last thing I want to waste time with on a vacation at a wonderful resort is trying to work with a broken app. ### 1/5 — Just doesn’t work *2025-12-16, version 4.2.0* The app didn’t recognize my confirmation number to create an account, so I went to create an account without adding my current itinerary. The text code never came through, so I gave up and deleted the app. I’ll hike to the lodge to ask my questions instead. ### 1/5 — Annoying *2025-12-14, version 4.2.0* Constantly throwing a pop up asking for access to Bluetooth, which I don’t want to grant. This happens even though the app is not open and hasn’t been used for months. I tried repeatedly to cancel a reservation using the app and it keeps saying the message isn’t received. If you can’t manage your reservation on the app what is the point? I’ll use the Bonvoy App to make a reservation at the Ritz Carlton next time — easy to use and get points. I recently stayed at the Four Season Whistler and the chat feature is my favourite as it made it easy to book my trip, plan my trip and anything that I needed at all.
