It might be an article, but it might be a video that will play on it’s own. Terrible functionality! ### 2/5 — “We’ll Be Right Back” *2023-02-28* Not a fan of this app. The tv commercial breaks don’t align with the app breaks and you’re left looking at the “We’ll Be Right Back Screen” for 5-10 minutes until I close out, come back, watch a few ads, then I can see the news again. Also, when I’m watching the news on TV I’ll see a highlight of something I'm interested in reading more about scrolling across the bottom of the screen, I can never find the those stories on the app and only sometimes can I find them on the Fox 17 website. They can do better than this poor excuse of an app. ### 1/5 — Portrait vs. Landscape *2020-12-30, version 7.32.2* Why won’t the screen rotate on a tablet. Very annoying when you use your tablet with a keyboard. If there is a solution let me know. ### 1/5 — Full of Hacks *2020-07-25* This app tried to send my information to hackers by using fake advertisements and taking me to websites even when i pressed the X button. It continuously glitches when you are on and off the app, ruining my ability to even use my phone. I am lucky to have even kept my phone after all these horrible problems, and everyone else I speak too comes across the same issue. Extremely unprofessional of Apple to even place this app on the App Store in the first place and it has to be removed right now ### 1/5 — Very glitchy *2020-07-16, version 7.30.0* I can hardly do anything on the app. When I first opened it, it was so laggy and then it eventually crashed. Please fix this! Images and pages fail miserably. They really need to replace whoever is responsible for this app, it is fail city. Wish near future make more better quality on this page thank you. Still not working great lots bugs and stop working last night. Couldn’t watch news at 9 pm still not working today early this morning until 4 am to 9 am block lots bugs get out . Hope fix problems on this page. Thank you ### 2/5 — Live News Streaming Taken Away *2018-08-25* No live streaming from this Fox17 app any more? Why did you think it was a grand idea to remove such a useful function in a news app. The local CBS and NBC news apps are now getting 100% of my attention in the mornings while I’m getting ready for work. Very, very disappointed. Maybe you should look at your ratings and actually do something to reverse the results you’ve created. ### 1/5 — Latest update *2018-03-08, version 7.2.0* The live streaming no longer works with the last update. No point in me having the app any longer. ### 1/5 — Bad job on the last update! *2018-03-01* As someone who goes to work later in the mornings, I loved having the option to stream the local news after 7 am. After your last update, this has disappeared. At least NewsChannel 5’s App works until 7, then they update with viable traffic alerts afterward.
