This weather app/radar is so inaccurate compared to the others. Fox two news should be ashamed of themselves. I always use to use the follow me on the app so when I get to work I can see the weather there instead of my home town but I cannot use it because it says I’m in the middle of the ocean in another country whether I am using my WiFi at home or my carriers Lte internet. I hope this issue gets fixed because I enjoy know what the weather is like at work as well as at home. I know I can switch it every time but it’s easier for it to change itself. Thank you. I have been using the KMOV channel 4 weather app ever since this one brought about the giant ad banner. The KMOV app includes a lot of things I don’t need in my weather app. Things like weather closings, live streaming, web cams, etc. But I’m going to stick with it for a while to see if I like it better. My biggest complaint about the Fox 2 weather app over the years has always been that the weather data they pull for the app in no way matches the weather forecast coming from Fox 2. Oftentimes being very different from one another. The whole point of downloading a local weather app from a local broadcast station is to get that same information on the go, 24/7. I want the same information that comes from our local weathermen who are in the area and know the local climate. I’ll continue to use the KMOV weather app to see if their app data is more in line with their local forecasts. ### 3/5 — Not compatible with iPhone XR *2019-11-11, version 4.10.1601* This has been my only go-to weather app for years, even the past 2.5 years that I have been living 3.5 hours away from St. Louis. But I just got a new phone and now most of the app features are not accessible. The drop down choices for radar map, hourly forecast, etc is not visible or accessible. The app ads are at the top of the view and covering the app menu options. UNFORTUNATELY I'LL HAVE TO FIND ANOTHER APP THAT WORKS WITH MY iPhone XR and has the RADAR option. ### 3/5 — ❤️ but issue *2019-11-04, version 4.10.1601* I have used this app for years and loved it until...the recent update took off the location at the top of the screen. We travel a lot and this is an important feature to me. Ads continuously pop up and cannot be closed until sitting through it. Worthless. ### 1/5 — again worthless *2026-03-03, version 6.1.401* app is again worthless. we used to be able set defaults on what to show. now you can’t set storm info, like: rain amount, storm info and direction. yes, it can be added, but each time the app is started, you must select that added profile, which at 3am, lights out, and not wanting to wake up my spouse, that can’t be changed without great difficulty. and you still can’t leave the app running because it stops updating. it’s storm season and flash flooding and tornado season, PLEASE FIX THIS. ### 1/5 — Extremely inaccurate *2024-07-09, version 5.15.406* The radar on this map is dangerously inaccurate. I’ve noticed so many times when we’ve had tornado warnings, or when it’s been snowing heavily, or having heavy rainfall that the radar will be clear. But a lot of the time when it’s showing rainfall it will be clear and sunny. I’ve also noticed that sometimes severe weather alerts are put in the wrong locations on the map compared to the National weather service’s or even channel 2’s live radar on tv. ### 1/5 — Lousy App! *2023-07-28, version 5.8.501* It use to be good, but the last couple of months it quit loading fast. Now the app rarely loads data. The page is there, but no weather data on any of the pages. Totally unreliable, so basically worthless for weather. In future updates, you may want to consider adding in some of the graphics that they actually use on the air, like KMOV.
